This was a deeply meaningful session to witness.

I feel incredibly grateful to have shared this beautiful session with @inneroceanwellness_kai at Inner Ocean Wellness, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy , the horses, and a very special client.

Each horse responded in their own way. Fiona stood nearby, quietly watchful. Frankie leaned in with his gentle presence.
And Beau chose to stay closer than he ever has before, holding space in his own quiet way.

Nothing was asked of them. They simply responded as themselves, and it was enough.

It is a privilege to create space for moments like these, and I never take for granted the trust our clients place in us, or the willingness of the horses to be part of this work.

I continue to hold a deep respect and reverence for what unfolds when people and horses come together in this way.

What an honour it is to witness moments like these.

There is something deeply calming about being in the presence of a horse. They have a way of inviting us to slow down, soften, and simply be.

To be seen without judgement.
To be accepted exactly as you are.
To experience a moment of genuine peace.

Partnering with @inneroceanwellness_kai to offer Equine Assisted Craniosacral Therapy allows us to create the conditions for these moments to unfold naturally.

No expectations. No pressure to perform. Just a safe space to rest, reconnect, and be supported.

Every session is different, but one thing continues to stand out…
The horses don’t ask us to become someone else.

They simply meet us where we are.

What an honour it is to provide this peaceful space ❤️

We feel so grateful to offer this restorative work here in the beautiful Comox Valley. In the fresh spring air, surrounded by nature, trees, birdsongs, horses and a few other sweet animal beings; we are offering a gentle place to settle, reconnect, and be held by nature.
We created this because we have experienced the profound healing benefit of spending time near horses. They are incredible teachers and healers.
Simply by being near them your whole system can become regulated and coherent. Their caring presence can allow you to feel well, grounded and present in your body; soft and open in your heart 🤍✨
No horse experience necessary ~ the horses are present for co-regulation, connection and quiet integration time. Come exactly as you are and be welcomed compassionately by the animals and us

Just brought this home from the gallery and thought of the title “Attraversiamo” to cross over in Italian - when I painted a woman was coaxing her child across the stream at sunset

I cannot begin to tell you how incredibly profound it was for me to work with these beautiful beings:

💫 2 women

💫 2 horses

Not to mention the wide open blue sky, ravens flying by and wind in the cedars.

The horses are part of the healing system that @klimesbailey of @evermorepastures creates alongside her horses Frankie and Fiona. @naturebodyflow_kai is the practitioner you see in the video, tuning in with me, the horses and all the possibilities.

This system is incredibly talented at holding healing and grounding space. You can connect with both Heather and Kaili to book appointments to spend time with the horses. I would travel across the world for the experience I just had last weekend, I will never, ever forget it.

This is on Vancouver Island outside of Courtney. If you're curious, DM me and I'll answer any questions you have.

If your spirit is calling for some horse healing energy, you've found your place.

@klimesbailey @naturebodyflow_kai and Frankie and Fiona, what an honour to spend that time with you.

Shout out to Peedro the donkey and Maui the dog as well as an assortment of other beasts that were around and about, holding the edges.❤️

Comox Valley dancing friends,
here is a new dancing opportunity for you! 💃🕺

Kai Lili and I are offering a Wednesday evening Conscious Dance series in Courtenay at the Dove Creek Hall.
Starting next week, Nov 15 and we would love for you to join us!

During this four week conscious movement/dance series,we will dive into the inquiry and theme of relationship.

"At the core of Open Floor movement philosophy is the understanding that “we are always in relationship”. We are in relationship not only with each other and ourselves, but also with animals, land, art, ancestry, and the entire natural world. Relationship is a need, much in the same way as food and water. The drive for relationship is an inner directive, with a natural cycle of being hungry, full, and then hungry again.

Relationship is not something we do – it is something that we are. Understanding this and learning to embody and move gracefully with our deepest and immediate relational hungers makes life meaningful and rich. Not being in relationship is not possible – we are always relating even when we avoid or isolate from ourselves, others, community, or spirit."
~ Open Floor International ~

Together Kaili and Melanie will be holding space for this deep embodied dive into the tenderness and intricacies of being a relational human. We will start with an opening sharing circle (optional) where we will offer both verbal and somatic prompts for you to share in a low-pressure way.

We will be co-creating evocative playlists for you to explore a full range of feelings and creative movement expression around the themes of Solitude, Connection, Belonging and Spirit. Kaili will offer gentle facilitation to support your practice, and each session will be focussed around one of these Four Hungers.

At the core of our offering is: the intent to create a safe enough space through our compassionate presence and leadership experience for you to show up as vulnerably and authentically as you are.

💛 If you need a sliding scale option, please message us 💛

For the expanding grandeur of Creation,
worlds known and unknown,
galaxies beyond galaxies,
filling us with awe and challenging our imaginations:

We give thanks this day.

For this fragile planet earth,
its times and tides, its sunsets and seasons:

We give thanks this day.

For the joy of human life,
its wonders and surprises, its hopes and achievements:

We give thanks this day.

For our human community,
our common past and future hope,
our oneness transcending all separation,
our capacity to work for peace and justice in the midst of hostility and oppression:

We give thanks this day.

For high hopes and noble causes, for faith without fanaticism,
for understanding of views not shared:

We give thanks this day.

For all who have labored and suffered for a fairer world,
who have lived so that others might live in dignity and freedom:

We give thanks this day.

For human liberty and sacred rites;
for opportunities to change and grow, to affirm and choose:

We give thanks this day.

We pray that we may live not by our fears but by our hopes,
not by our words but by our deeds.
we give thanks this day
