Home from a few days at @innsofaurora celebrating 20 years together ❤️ It was an amazing destination with no agenda except a spa appointment, good food, and lots of reading!

I read 2 & 3/4 books…

I loved @julieoliviaauthor’s Love Felt Like This! I’ll be selling it to anyone who comes into the store. OUT NOW

@katemooney_author’s debut was a great taste of something spooky, and had really fun What Lies Beneath vibes (coming out 10/13)

I’m nearly done with @rioghnachrobinson’s Bad Words. One of my MOST anticipated reads of the season—and I’m loving it! I’ll post an official review soon (coming out 10/6)

And I didn’t get to it on the trip, but @barbara.kingsolver’s Partita is next on my list (out 10/6)

ALSO Ted read Dead Beat, the final book in @lbardugo’s dark academia Ninth House series, and loved it! He then started Black Tail by Scott Hawkins, and says it’s pretty weird, funny, dark… but overall good so far.

Dr. Septimiu Pastiu feeding his fish 🐟

Doc loves his fish & it’s evident! The tanks are so clean and the fish are healthy. I love how friendly they are!

We love visiting them and watching them grow.

Thankyou Doc for having us!

I had the best time celebrating one of my best friends. @magda.l.ene_ 💍💒💕
Almost an entire week in upstate New York with some amazing ladies.
New friends that I didn’t know I needed.
The one liners, inside jokes, serious and not so conversations, plane rides, porch hangs, hikes, tarot card readings, walks, meals with one another, dancing, and adventures in our rental minivan made me feel like I had new besties at the end of the six days.
Congrats to the newly weds @magda.l.ene_ and @peety_g
To my Benson Family ☀️ @kkcogswell
Thanks again for a memorable and perfect stay.
@magda.l.ene_ you have a magical way of bringing incredible people together… and being able to get them all to wear pink 🩷

Every design decision for the spa at @innsofaurora serves the body and mind. Daylit rooms open to the calm of Cayuga Lake. Fireplaces sit within the treatment spaces. Operable windows carry the scent of the lavender fields indoors, and natural materials were chosen for how they feel and breathe.

This is the rigor behind WELL certification, a standard that measures how a building actively supports human health across light, air, comfort, and connection to the landscape. The Spa is the first to earn that certification at the Gold level, the standard’s highest recognition in American wellness design.

Gratitude 🙏✨

This has been August so far! A month of New beginnings.

Open my new business location. Had a lot of dates with myself. I truly enjoy my own company, traveling and knowing about myself with no-one surrounding me is being a learning journey. I learnt to love myself in Aloneness.

I’m so attracted to water and nature, it makes me feel fully alive. Finding happiness in the little moments of life.

This was my 3rd Waterfall visit this summer in Upstate NY.

Living in the presence sometimes is hard. After working non-stop for the last 20 days before my moving (even day off) I was working building furniture by myself, ordering stuff, while being a part-time mom two weeks a month, the due time was almost closed, and I wanted to achieve all my goals before the opening. And my body was only asking for Stillness, was screaming for relaxation.

My woo woo thing I love to do to clear my mind, and/or the energy of a space is to use Palo Santo/Sage and remove all the thoughts that get stuck in our heads.🕊️

♥️This girl is painted outside my new business Location.

She’s literally ME. She reminds me I belong to nature, closer to the ocean, waterfalls, river, plants and animals.

Coffee lover since I was 5 yrs old

It’s fine! It’s a Latina thing 🤎☕️

I took a day off for a Spa Day no distractions, only me, my favorite book now “ Woman who run with the Wolves”, water, 50 min meditation from Joe Dispenza, Pilates. And it was everything I needed to come back to myself.

It’s so important to not abandon yourself, to prioritize other things, or people before you. Self-love means knowing when to stop. YOU are the only want responsible to fulfill your own cup. To create your happiness.

When you give from an empty cup you become resentful, angry.
When your heart is so full of love, that’s when you can genuinely give to others 🫶🏼

… and so much LOVE ❤️ 💋
