Here’s a snapshot of our IndoChine menu, our last menu of the year!

It’s been so much fun coming up with this menu, getting our inspiration from travels to North Thailand, Lao, and Bangkok! And then cooking our version of the dishes.

Thanks to all our customers for cheering us on, our hearts are full! We will be back in early January 2027. We may have some side projects along the way so please stay tuned here!

For those still keen to book another dinner for 2026, we still have available dates in November, before we take a break to be grandparents 🥰❤️💕

Have a lovely weekend 🥂

Our last starter in this IndoChine menu is a light coconut soup flavoured with the trinity of Thai herbs: lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves and galangal. In the soup are prawns, oyster mushrooms, edamame, and topped with a twice fried crispy prawn head.

A favourite among many guests here 🥰

Sunday dinner was a special celebration! Our firstborn @mr.pkok turns 30! The big 3 0. He will soon leave home with his lovely Mrs to build his own nest, will soon have someone calling him papa. So many milestones for him this 2nd half of 2026.

So yes this mama bear is feeling a little emo. More than ever this year, I say it again “where did the time go?” Am so proud of him! Wish and pray the best for him, that he will enjoy the next phase, and that our good God guide him and bless him always!

Happy ßirthday my Patrick

During our off weeks, when not hosting intimatesuppers, our time is more flexible. Apart from prep work, we also cook family favourites or try new out of menu dishes just for the fun of it.

A few weeks ago, The Hubs @inotscaredyou made kimchi.

We all love his kimchi, including our helper Y. It’s fresh, just the right amount of heat and acidity!

Apart from eating it as a banchan, with hot rice, we also use it in our noodle soup…

… and in our kimchi fried rice! SO so delicious!!

Dessert for this season is a recreation of the flavours of Khanom Krok, a sweetcorn coconut Kueh often found in the markets and street side stalls of Thailand.

Coconut and rice wine lees sauce, coconut corn ice cream, and a butter tuile on top!
