POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This November, we invite you to join us for the re-introduction of In Parallel.

Joining the Mind Over Matter Records family for the release of their newest EP, titled “Moral Injury,” the band has eschewed their stark black and white persona for one filled with a different type of contrast. This has ushered in music that is beyond deeply personal, as Moral Injury was written and recorded soon after a school shooting that rocked their hometown of Nashville, TN. The darkness that overshadowed them set the tone for these news songs, and they’re as emotional as you can only imagine.

Moral Injury will be everywhere on November 20th, and you’re invited to experience it early by joining the band for an intimate multi-media listening party on November 14th at @theboweryvault

Vinyl pre-orders and digital pre-saves will begin on November 2nd and we can’t wait to show you the details of this release, as it’s truly something special!

My new song, “She’s The Sun”, will be available on all streaming platforms next week Friday, 10/9.

This is new territory for me, writing and recording on my own. It’s equal parts exciting and terrifying. My introverted self has always felt comfortable writing songs with my band mates, using a band name to represent the music. We know that growth can require being uncomfortable, and I’m diving in.

As for @celebrity.band and @inparallelband (love you, brothers), we have some exciting things to share with you in the coming months. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy my first song.

Thank you @mark_andrew_nash and @velvetamanda for making this song come to life. 🖤

North and South Carolina had some truly amazing bands in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Who are some Carolina bands (past and present) that you think deserve mentioning?

Part of talking with @ryanedwardparrish from @hopesfall @inparallelband @celebrity.band was hearing how becoming a dad changed the way he sees himself.

In this clip Ryan talks about losing his job, being stuck in his own head about it, and then hearing his daughter tell him:

“Hey, you’ll get another job.”

Sometimes kids can cut through all the noise and remind you of something simple you forgot to believe yourself. And a pure love and support that speaks to your core.

@lance_thomas_black, one of my closest friends and collaborators of 20+ years was recently on @therumorsaretruecast with my old pal @thejeremygould.

Lance is one of the most talented vocalists, songwriters, and guitarists (dude can SHRED) I’ve had the pleasure of creating with. Lance is an extremely loyal and supportive friend, and I have a deep respect for him as a human being. To this day, it still feels like I get to create with one of my favorite vocalists and people.

Check out his interview wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts. I love you OMB!
