About last night: 🌕 full moon / total lunar eclipse 09/07/2025 ● ● 📷: @insidebln ● 📍Archenhold-Sternwarte @planetarium.berlin Alt-Treptow 1 12435 Berlin 🇪🇺🇩🇪 . 🎶 "nightcall" by Kavinsky @kavinsky . Did you ever try to capture a full moon while you are nervous and euphoric at the same time? Time pressure and shaky hands. That's how it looks. My main interest: enjoy the longest total lunar eclipse (over 3 hours duration) since years. This phenomen is also called blood moon 🩸🌕, because the moon is colored red while it is inside our earth shaddow. Maybe I can take a picture of it? But how!? 🔭 Luckely the Archenhold-Observatory offered an admission free moon observation. Mobile telescopes (modern & historic) on there roof terrace plus live stream commented by director Tim Florian Horn. His presentation was really entertaining and he also added a lot of background informations! The entire crew and volunteers were friendly, courteous and very helpful! I didn't work it out to get upstairs to the roof terrace while lunar eclipse. Because the roof space is limited and many people had the same intentions like me. So I enjoyed this celestial spectacle with my own eyes. Mobile pictures not worth mentioning. 🌕 Nevertheless: as time progressed, I got my chance to watch a full moon like never before in my life. So overwhelming. Hier finden Diskurse sowie internationale und zeitgenössische Künste ein zu Hause. Nichteuropäische Kulturen und Gesellschaften finden besondere Beachtung. @hkw_berlin Die Kongresshalle im großen Tiergarten fällt durch ihr besonderes Dach allen Berlin-Besuchern auf. Es steht unweit des Regierungsviertels. Das freihängende Dach besteht aus einer doppelt gekrümmten Spannbeton-Decke.
