Scraps of physical poetry.
Movement is my expression,
my body the pen,
and space the paper I write upon.

Every stretch holds a sentence.
Every breath creates a pause.
Every curve, reach, and tremble
says what words sometimes cannot.

I don’t move only to perform.
I move to process,
to remember,
to release,
to return to myself.

My body carries stories
my voice may never know how to tell.
So I let them become movement—
small scraps of physical poetry,
written in muscle, breath, and feeling.

One of the therapies I choose to invest in for my own body: AMR — Advanced Muscle Reconstruction.

I go to the amazing @kgbodywork at her location in OC, and what makes our connection so special is that we share the same passion for lymphatic health, fascia, movement, and whole-body wellness.

I also deeply believe that collaboration between therapists is powerful. No single modality has to do everything. The body is an interconnected system, and sometimes the best results come when different methods, perspectives, and hands work together toward the same goal.

So, what exactly is AMR?

Advanced Muscle Reconstruction is a fascia-focused, hands-on approach designed to address restrictions within the muscles and connective tissue. By working with these areas, AMR can help support better mobility, posture, range of motion, and overall movement quality while helping reduce muscular tension and discomfort.

What I especially love is how beautifully this philosophy connects with lymphatic work.

Fascia surrounds and connects structures throughout the body, while the lymphatic system relies heavily on movement, muscle contractions, breathing, and changes in tissue pressure to help move lymph. When the body feels restricted, addressing mobility and tissue quality can be an important part of supporting more efficient movement and fluid dynamics.

If you’re in OC, I highly recommend experiencing Karen’s AMR therapy for yourself.

Different methods. One interconnected body. #amr #recovery #massage #fascia
