OMG! What a gift 😮 @elevatesd Solana Beach is partnering with Solana Beach Wellness Collective to offer our practice members 20% off classes and memberships at Elevate Training.

Lagree, versa, infrared sauna all available in Solana Beach location. My personal favorite, Vista location, has childcare 😍

other locations include 4S Ranch, Carmel Valley & downtown. Look great. It was my preferred method of working out during pregnancy and now postpartum. @pelvitone.physical.therapy agrees that we love Lagree for postpartum moms once their pelvic floor is ready to work out again 💃🏻

Myofascial release therapy with Cristy is body work with intention. Unlike an effleurage (rubbing) massage, MFR works at unwinding your fascia so your body continues to relax even after your session ✨ schedule with Cristy with her online schedule SolanaBeachWellnessCollective.com

A peaceful nervous system is one of the most powerful gifts a woman can give herself

Sometimes a picture captures more than just a moment… it captures a way of life.

Living by the ocean, helping people reconnect to their bodies through myofascial release therapy, creating a space where the nervous system can soften and finally feel safe — this is truly my life’s work and my passion.

And of course, none of it would be complete without my sweet boy Franklin by my side. 🐾

On this International Women’s Day, I’m reminded how important it is for women to celebrate ourselves — not just today, but every day. To honor our strength, our healing, and the lives we are consciously creating.

Feeling deeply grateful for this life and the opportunity to help others find more peace within their bodies and nervous systems. 🌊

It’s not one thing, read on..

The truth about my chronic pain..

Short version

It was 2020, stuck inside (more ways than one)
Unrest
Uncertainty

Still 2020
And during that time (above) I also had a surgery
Best decision of my life -explant
Worst decision of my life - implants
(Still shaking my head)

To the heal ❤️‍🩹
I heard @nikisuemyers say “you’re issues are in your tissues” she said that to me almost twenty years ago, circa early sobriety life❤️‍🩹

⏩FFWD, 2025 that mantra is making a come back
Because 2020 FROZE ME 🥶
I stopped doing all the things that made me well and whole.

I could feel my muscles tighten, my tissues losing their pliancy, as if my body were bracing for a blow that never came. By the time I realized, 4 years later that I was stuck in freeze mode, moving my body wasn’t going to provide the relief I needed.

I needed support, and I found a community of healers that speak the wisdom of the body as I understand it. It’s been a crazy ride, and it’s not over yet but I’m finally accessing my body in such a different way. Uncovering painful memories I’ve stored in my tissues which have created armor that is no longer serving or protecting me. Along this year I’ve let so many practitioners touch me, advise me and inject me to be rid of pain… and in my heart I knew that was never the way.

I have found what works for me, and it’s always been about the language of the heart 🖤
humans that understand the nervous system, and the treat the whole person, not just my feet. 👣 Because there were signs all along that it wasn’t my feet, but I ignored them. And now I’m undoing layer upon layer of history + I wouldn’t have it any other way ✨🫶🏽🖤

In the process I’ve come across an AMAZING team of healers that believe in my recovery ❤️‍🩹 and honor the path I’m on. Here’s to those speaking the language of my heart…forever grateful
