@reform_health_performance Run the Rig for Time
@mandy_mcdermott a solid 28 secs ......... will easily shave 5 secs off this time
@eugeburke coming in at a cracking 20 secs but again I’d say 3 secs to come off this
And Marty Roe setting the pace with the time to beat a staggering 14 secs

Smashing night out with all my 2018 mastermind crew. I’m incredibly proud of how much these guys have achieved over the last year and the thriving community we’ve built. Everybody in this photo (and the 43 bodies missing 🙈😂🎄hate organising parties) has helped each other, wether it be through introducing contacts, sharing skill sets, acquiring staff right through to listening and being there for each other at the darkest times. You guys rock! ❤️💪

I got this quote from a @seantuck video today. In the video Sean said he doesnt recall where he heard this quote and after I googled it myself with no result I give the credit to him
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In the video Sean talks about how some subjects are unwilling or uncomfortable in front of camera and the photographer has to use his skill and cunning to get the what they need from the subject
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is so true for myself. Many of my clients are not comfortable in front of camera nevermind getting their photo taken in the middle of the gym
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But I pride myself on my ability to settle a nervous client, make them forget their nerves and enjoy the process of the shoot
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It is important the subject look relaxed in the images.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One method I use is I turn my back and pretend to be adjusting my light settings, the subject switches off and takes a relaxed stance. I turn back round and ask that they dont move
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
That moment of relaxation often creates the strongest and most natural image
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I would love hear some of your experiences in front of my camera and how we overcome any nerves

CARBS ARE NOT THE ENEMY, YOUR LACK OF DISCIPLINE IS 🙃

Let me start off by saying that I know this is a harsh statement. Yes some people are more insulin sensitive than others and will react differently to some when eating carbs blah, blah, blah...🎠
*
However, insulin fairies aside, carbs are magic. They are not your enemy. When you are dieting without the use of any other "assistance" or "enhancers" they should be kept as high as possible. This is why... Ever hear of Carbs for Condition? Well you have now. You can get shredded eating carbs. How? You utilise meal timing, know when to eat what particular carb source and use your carbs for energy in your training sessions 💪

If you train at a high intensity, you need to fuel these intense workouts and your pre-workout can only get you so far. A car won't run well off dirty diesel, get as much carbs into you and out-work your intake in the sessions 🏋

Of course you still have to be in a calorie deficit to lose bodyfat. So don't be afraid to lower your carbs on non-training days or less intense training sessions. Save your carbs for when you need them 👌

Lastly carbohydrates will also keep your muscles appearing fuller and rounder. This means more swole for the lads and better curves for the girls. You can't really argue there 💃

With carbs people fall down by sporadic over consumption and binging on calorie dense sources. Simply put this lack of discipline is the problem and won't lead to the best results 💁

Great time yesterday in Belfast at the final of my 12 month Mastermind 🤓☝️
*
The last year has had a huge impact on me. My business is growing. My head is clear. I am more focussed and driven, than I have ever been, and I have @philgraham01 to thank for this 💪😎
*
Phil has given me a great insight into the inner workings of the fitness industry, that I thought I had known so well. He has helped me map out what I need to do to be successful, as well as how to achieve the correct mindset to nail it 🕺
*
Leaving this Mastermind and going back into the real world is a strange concept. However I now have the knowledge, of the right systems and structure to grow and prosper 📈
*
I can't thank Phil enough for everything he has taught me. I am in a much better place, than I was this time last year, and I am far happier, and confident in myself 🤗
*
As well as learning off Phil. I have learned off everyone in the Mastermind. We have all shared our own experiences of the industry, and more personal matters, which has been a great learning curve. I am happy to call these guys friends, and I know I can rely on them for advice if needed 👌
*
The last year has been great for me. The Mastermind has been an extremely worthwhile investment. I can't wait to apply everything I have learned throughout, to continue growing my business 💃💃💃
