Starting a new year always means reflection on one level or another.

Today I have really been thinking about my Monat community. Look I joined Monat mostly for a discount and maybe to earn enough to cover my products. And being totally transparent, I had watched other friends doing this business that appeared to be having so much fun. But again in the name of transparency, I thought I had missed that boat and wouldn’t find people like me in Monat. I was so wrong and wow did God have other things in store. I have met some of the most wonderful people in this business. They encourage me, motivate me, pray for and with me, cry with me (often tears from laughter), dream big with me, and just do life with me. Even though we are scattered all around when we get in the same room it’s as if no time has passed. The community was the unexpected gift of Monat and I hear it over and over from people at all different levels of the company.

There are a lot of reasons to join Monat, but if this one is ringing true to you let’s talk. Selling shampoo might not be the dream, but laughter and love and friendship probably makes the dream list. It’s a new year, maybe it’s time for new dreams.

Business is ever-changing. Very few of us have been around since the beginning of our team, but the ones who stay are the ones who GET IT.

Success is never owned, it’s rented. And the rent is due every day.

Consistency will always win. Long-term vision will always win. Determination will always win. Optimism will always win. Persistence will always win.

I love sitting with the women who get it.

Four years of being a part of this Monat biz. Four years of learning and growing. Four years of laughter, tears, prayers, dancing, and singing. Four earned trips. I’ve made some of the best friends with this business. I signed up for a bigger discount and to hopefully make enough to just pay for my products. The idea of earned trips and community and new found confidence NEVER crossed my mind. But now I see that God had bigger plans. He blessed me with this incredible community. I never would have met some of my most favorite people had I not stopped sitting on the fence. I don’t know where this business will take me, but I don’t regret saying yes. Know that if you are that person sitting on the fence wondering if you should join me, one of my most favorite things in life is helping others and teaching and encouraging. You wouldn’t be alone, you wouldn’t just have me, you would have a community to back you up.

We spent last night celebrating @jaimehill_ and her incredible $1M in COMMISSIONS! Welcome to the MDC Jaim!

I’m so proud and honored to call her my mentor. Her yes led to my yes and I know she’ll be putting one of those jackets on me one day. That feels so scary to put into writing, but I know it’s the path I’m on. Full speed ahead!

I joined Jaime just 6 weeks after she started, I’ve been with her since the beginning, and I’ve seen her build her team and become a leader for the past 5 years. I’ve learned so much about leadership from her, how to better serve my team and my customers. I’m so thankful for her example every day.

Congrats Jaime! You are so deserving of this, so proud of you! ILYSM!

Enjoy this montage of us over the years. Many more memories to come! 😂🥹🤟🏼🫶🏼🎉

Network marketing, social selling, affiliate marketing…I guarantee you that it’s not what you think it is. It’s not a thing of the past or the way of the future, it is now. I share products I love and a business that has impacted me in more words that Instagram can hold. I share it because I know that I was looking for something more. I know that I wanted deeper connections and something for me. I wanted to help others and have a different purpose. But I desperately wanted all of the time and availability with my kids. The confidence, the flexibility, the community, the training, the opportunity, the paycheck…I would say yes to this again all day long. And to keep it real, I fell off the sidewalk at the beginning of that very last clip.

Wanna know my secret to shiny hair? First quality safe products without waxes, silicons or petroleum ingredients. You know I love that MONAT gave me my best hair of my life.
The little shine trick is the Glossy Mist spray. Keeps humidity out & Frizz away!!! That’s quite a trick in this Texas heat & humidity. I spray it in my hand so I can control where I put it. A little trick I learned from @kimm.alves_ & @felizmodernandrea.
Are you ready to get your best hair? I’ll hold your hand every step of the way.
