HARRY - MUST LEAVE THE POUND ON OCTOBER 3RD AS THE POUND CANNOT HOLD BEYOND DAY 8 (so needs space by end of 1st October latest to plan vaccs and transport out).

Harry is a handsome large sized black and white lurcher boy. Look at his cute little face. He is chipped so we hope his owner might be looking for him. We will add more info on Harry as we get it.

If not claimed Harry needs a rescue space, he is not for private rehoming.

He is available via JACOB’S POUND DOGS UK, and after 48 hours may also be placed directly by SDK so we will need to check availability before confirming offers after the first 48 hours. All that matters is that he finds a reputable rescue space if not claimed.

**In the video of Lilah the chow you can see Harry politely saying hello through his kennel and wagging his tail**

All dogs must pass a temperament test before being released for rehoming. This means they will have shown no human or dog directed aggression or have given the kennel staff any cause for concern over their temperament.

Please contact The Animal Advocate, Deborah Shepherd, or Aimiee Findlay if you can help.

GRAPHIC WARNING ⚠️

Thousands of hunting dogs in Spain are facing a terrible fate. With your help, we will save them.

Right now, Spanish hunters are putting these dogs, called galgos, through an abusive training regime, callously discarding those they deem ‘worthless.’

Galgos Del Sur, our partner, is rescuing as many as they can, providing them with the care and rehabilitation they need to heal.

But with so many dogs in need, their resources are stretched thin.

Our partner needs urgent support to continue their life-saving work – and with your help, we will ensure they can continue rescuing galgos from abandonment, torture and neglect.

👉 Your support can help us save these beautiful, tortured animals today – find out how via the link in our bio
