On June 11th, we hosted our Martha’s Place Open House to bring the community together and honor our women in recovery. Guests toured the facilities, connected with members of the Martha’s Place community, and reflected on the program’s 25+ years of impact. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this event! 🌺

Kicking off April, we hosted a stupendous skillCONNECT session with @jhucarey at their beautiful Harbor Point location.

29 volunteers representing 18 unique companies teamed up with 15 of JHU Carey’s brightest master’s students to help 10 incredible local nonprofits.

In a fast-paced event that combined real life consulting and networking, our fearless volunteers helped brainstorm solutions to nonprofit board engagement issues, funding struggles, ineffective marketing, and more. It was an inspiring afternoon that resulted in nearly $30,000 of valuable pro bono consulting.

Thank you, @jhucarey , for hosting this event and getting so many wonderful students involved. Thanks also to the 10 participating nonprofits for being so forthright and vulnerable with your business challenges, and of course, thanks so much to our incredible volunteers!

Winter is a time for nature to rest while it prepares for the blossoming of the Spring season. While we close our eyes and get ready for new things, we can play the pictures in our mind and dream of what’s to come! This past session has been full of beautiful aspirations brought to life and we can’t wait to share our excitement with you.
