this might officially be the last booksta post of the year from me! genuinely not sure if i’ll be back on december 22nd to celebrate this little corner of the internet turning FOUR YEARS OLD! Four years…can you even believe it?
Looking back at this past year, my heart is absolutely bursting with gratitude. So much happened, so many incredible books were read, and so many wonderful connections were made right here with all of you. Every comment, every texts, it has meant the absolute world and made this space feel like a genuine home.
now for the important part: you will see me eating grapes under the table again this New Year’s Eve, don’t worry! Some traditions simply must be upheld as we move into the next year….
As I sign off for the holidays, I’m sending you all the magic, love, light, and good reading vibes I have left. You deserve all the peace and joy the universe can offer. Thank you, thank you, thank you & i miss each and every single one of you.

I’ve got to say a huge thank you to lovely @bosh._.artist for the CUTEST illustration of me with my favorite book ever (surprise to absolutely no one). 🥹She was the sweetest to work with, and I highly suggest you go check out her page! 🩵 I’ve always wanted to get a commission of myself, and from the moment I saw her work, I knew she was the one. Her pieces are just so vibrant and I love the way she does her lineart.

Of course I had to be holding Heir by @sabaatahir with my iced latte. The 2 things I need in order to keep breathing. 🤭

Being on here for over a year, I thought it was time for me to formally introduce myself. I actually didn’t notice I hit 700 until my bestie told me. It’s so surreal to say: “yeah 700 people chose to keep seeing my content”. I truly never thought that my rants would reach so many people. 😭

reading» i just started the graham effect (finally) and idk why i waited so long. the off campus series has been a fave of mine for YEARS so this sequel series is so exciting for me. and after that i wanna reread some percy jackson + read the newest one (:

watching» i just saw boys in a boat in theatres and wow i already loved callum turner, but im obsessed now. must watch actor for me now. and i watched priscilla a few weeks back and im still thinking about how beautiful the cinematography was. but im kinda shocked it didn’t get any oscar noms… not even in the crafts categories is crazyyyy

listening to» selena gomez and the scene has been on repeat this week hehe they truly were ahead of their time!! i’ve also rediscovered bags (the electric lady version) and i can’t. stop. listening. to. it. one of my all time favorite songs and this version just hits even more different.

what i’m looking forward to» i just got my first law school acceptance and i’m looking forward to hopefully getting more!! it’s such an exciting & crazy time for me👩🏽‍⚖️

reading» just started little women. finally. the 2019 version is literally one of my favorites of all time and idk how i’ve waited this long!! & i’m still trying to finish throne of the fallen… sorry for falling behind @lianareadss 🙈

watching» i saw mean girls last night and guys!!! it exceeded my expectations tbh. i knew i was gonna enjoy it bc i love chris & reneé but truly the og vibes were there, as well as the current trends!! i was laughing the whole way through!!

i also finally started watching the bear hehe. i get the hype.

listening» the mean girls soundtrack andddd miss ariana grande’s new song!! i love this new era for her and i’ll always love her. i’ve been a fan of hers almost as long as ive been a swiftie. i just love pop music and she’s always gonna be THE pop girl 💅🏽

looking forward to» nothing major coming up but im enjoying just relaxing and enjoying a slow life rn. i finished all my applications for law schools recently and i’m waiting to hear back(‘: in the meantime, i’ve also been trying to get involved in my local communities in advocating for palestine and using my privilege❤️‍🩹🇵🇸
