My next set of hosts along the way of the trip. Some friends and family again and alot of strangers whom I can now call friends. Massive shout out to @navis247 and @eminnerath whom got roped into hosting me by a friend of theirs in Grand Junction at very last minute and to Leo O’Neill whom picked me up at the side of the road one day I was struggling cycling through a reservation and offered me a place to stay in Flagstaff. The generosity not just of these but all continually amazed me everyday.

Everest Base Camp Trek Day 7: Dingboche to Laboche

This may be my favorite leg. And by far the most beautiful.

At the top. Memorials to climbers that have passed in the region. A reminder to do what you love because life can be brittle and you don't know how much time you have.

My gratitude is thru the roof.

I met @intrepidsalamander 3 years ago on a horrible COVID travel nurse assignment.
She has turned into such a wonderful friend that I feel so blessed to have in my life!!

Ended a few months in Utah by guiding 12 days of technical expedition canyoneering through the spectacular Grand Staircase Escalante and Glen Canyon Recreation Area. Spent a lot of time learning so many new things in such beautiful places. Namely, that canyoneering is hard especially when you have to spend days rappelling/wading/swimming into ice cold potholes. But it's so much fun, even with a full backpacking setup and 7 days of food. Also I got to do a 200 foot rappel off a tent peg (don't worry, I lived). Lightweight backpacking meets technical canyoneering.

Thank you to all the clients for not asking for a refund when I got put on the trips and for being up for awkward rappels, cold water, and narrow slot canyons, @andrewskurka for letting me hop on these trips, (sorry about your loaner packs!), @schacechristy for all the work putting together the routes and all the planning beforehand, @sstratts for the great canyoneering crash course before the trips, and my co-guide Jeff who I learned so much from these past 12 days. Sound on for ethereal acoustic flute playing.

Anyone else obsessed with the moon!?
I have wanted to get a picture like this my whole life and in 2022 it happened 🙌

Thank you to @intrepidsalamander for giving me a reason to get out into the mountains!!
This picture made it worth walking miles on miles at 11,000ft elevations with all my camera gear 😂

As much as I love capturing people and emotions, I will forever be in love with nature and the moon 🌓🌕🌖
