This month was a freaking portal if I’ve ever experienced one.

From Maine, to New York, back to Chicago, into the depths of my subconscious, back out, into my body, over to the gym, through the forests, and by the lake.

8/1 : my 40th bday was one of my favorite days of my life (+ the days surrounding). I’m not one for celebrating my bday, despite being a Leo, but this one I went for it. I convinced 10 gal pals to go to Catalina Island with me for the day, something I’ve been wanting to do since I moved here.

The sweet decorations, the cackling laughter, my favorite people all with me at once, the hype man fiancés, the meals, the drinks, the hangover, the ferry rides, the stunning island, the no-plan wing it day, the slow days surrounding with the besties and for feeling all the love… I’m so lucky ☺️❤️
