We Explore. We Learn. We Inspire. Ad Astra Per Aspera!

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

At first, it’s CHAOS!

No familiar up or down. Even the simplest movements suddenly feel unfamiliar.
What works on Earth? Not necessarily up there.

But here’s what surprised me…

Once I stopped trying to move the way I do on Earth, things began to change.

I experimented. I adapted. Little by little, I learned to move differently.

The chaos didn’t disappear. I just learned how to navigate it. 💛

Isn’t that a little like life?
We can’t always control the conditions, but we can learn how to move within them.

Speaking of learning…
A HUGE thank you to @space_mog, @modernday_eratosthenes, @tracedominguez, and @feistystance for sharing your time and expertise to help us grow as science communicators.

Special shoutout to @space_mog for helping me develop the hook for this reel.

We’re not done learning.
Looking forward to our upcoming mentorship sessions with @hiphopscienceshow and @salamabualhayjaa.

Gracias , @spaceforhumanity and @airzerog, for this extraordinary opportunity, and to my fellow Zero-G cohort members who shared every wonderfully chaotic moment! 🫶

Have you ever had to rethink everything you thought you knew about how to do something?

We’re so proud to be helping make dreams come true, and the truth is, you’re never too old to chase them.

Torrean, a father of three from Roseville, California, found his love for space from "Star Trek" as have so many others. Torrean believes (as do we!) that space needs to be accessible to everybody. Through this experience, you realize how deeply interconnected we all are.

As we reach for the stars, we find our own humanity along the way.

Finally added the Lego Hubble Space Telescope to the gym wall.

The Hubble Space Telescope already made for a great build, but putting it on this display frame from @diadia.bricks really brought it to life.

What makes it even better is where it sits — right next to Space Shuttle Discovery.

That’s a pretty fitting spot, considering Discovery carried Hubble into orbit on STS-31 in 1990. Since then, Hubble has spent more than three decades helping us look deeper into the universe, from studying distant galaxies to capturing some of the most recognizable images in astronomy.

So having Hubble and Discovery side by side on the wall just felt right.

A perfect crossover between Invictyus Bricks and Invictyus Space.

What space build should I add next?

From random airport hellos to floating in zero-G and celebrating in full color. 🚀✨

Swipe to see how flight suits look with heels... because why not? 👠🛸

Which slide is your favorite energy? (Mine is definitely 3 😂)

Whoever floats with astronauts is an astronaut. I'm still trying to believe that includes me.

I'm Susan, a geospatial technologist from Nairobi who fell in love with space by looking down at a map, long before I ever looked up at the stars. A few days ago, I had the flight experience of a lifetime with Space for Humanity - a parabolic Zero-G flight, floating through Martian gravity, Lunar gravity, and true weightlessness, 15 times over.

Thank you, @spacehumanity, for an experience I'll spend a long time trying to fully put into words.

Science isn't complete until it's communicated. Consider this me, getting started. 🇰🇪✨

¡Wepa!
