NEW EPISODE OUT NOW!!
(Link in Bio)

It's the end of the Chardonnay journey...and the end of Season Three! But, fear not, as Bryn and Jaff have a rather fine bottle of Chablis to round off the season!

There's an ArcTangent roundup, discussions about 'smoke taint', a man forgets how to wear sunglasses, Jaff joins Poison and Bryn ponders the return of MySpace and our old chum Tom...

A whole host of musical delights are provided as usual...from classical, to death grind, to jazz, some post-metal and even a bit of drone thrown in for good measure!

See you in season four!!

Here’s the full painting I did for @invocationritualofficial ‘s debut full length “Altered Reality.” Originally designed to be a gatefold cover, the front and back of the album form one continuous, mutated post apocalyptic landscape. I really wanted to do an exaggerated perspective drawing for the cityscape, similar to 18th century Italian architectural paintings, filled with a Where’s Waldo level of points of interest, and finally, I really wanted to render this on watercolor to really push the sense of depth with the murky color palette. The inclusion of the central figure in the “mental health crisis pose” is definitely a nod to Napalm Death’s “From Enslavement to Obliteration” and Rancid’s “…and Out Come the Wolves” (even though they’re sonically very different albums).

This was painted in watercolor with a bit of gouache and a hint of sepia liner pens over a period of six frantic weeks on 20x24” Arches cold press paper.

Huge thank you to Paul and everyone in Invocation Ritual for trusting me with this!
