THE ART PAINTS THE ARTIST.

A glimpse into my world—original paintings, one-of-one wearable art, and the moments in which they come to life.

My practice, Psycho-Visceral Surrealism, begins at White Sky Gallery, my studio in Pelham, New York. Each original artwork and wearable-art piece comes with its own unique certificate of authenticity.

For available works, private studio visits, or curatorial and gallery inquiries, DM me. You can also meet me at Grand Bazaar NYC on selected Sundays—message me for dates.

This Sunday, come meet me and discover art you can collect—and art you can wear.

I’m also introducing “From the Artist’s Wardrobe”: my own studio shirts, worn over years of creating. The paint, wear, and tears are part of their history. Now available for $150 each.

Every artwork and wearable-art piece is one of one and comes with its own unique certificate of authenticity.

📍 Grand Bazaar NYC
100 West 77th Street at Columbus Avenue
🗓 Sunday, October 18 | 10 AM–5 PM

My Pelham studio is where it all begins. For a deeper encounter with my work, DM me to arrange a private visit to White Sky Gallery. Collectors, curators, and galleries are warmly welcome.

Today, we finally released this purple beauty to its new owner; @irenes.entropy .
After many months, here is the culmination of my plan & @jaholt633 ‘s woodworking skills.
The guitar is built around a 3pc mahagony neck-through design.
The body is mahagony with a 1/4” quilted maple cap.
The headstock is an original design by John, also with a maple cap. The neck was not clear-coated and left natural for a smooth feel.
The pickups are Seymour Duncan JBs with coil-tap switches for increased tonal possibilities.
The bridge & tailpiece are nickel plated TonePros.
The switch tip was carved by John from walnut. The pickup rings are walnut and the knobs are walnut with amethyst caps.
Tusq nut, ebony fretboard with med gauge frets and Kluson tuners.
We relocated the output jack to the side for a cleaner look & eliminated the pick guard.
If you look carefully, you’ll see @getmcmahon on the headstock and one of Dan’s lyrics on the upper bout (for inspiration)
Many other personal touches that we added for Irene to make this a truly one of a kind axe.
You will see this one at her shows in the near future.
Stay tuned!

@irenes_ecologist Dear, Economist, I have a hallway utility closet and we moved the water heater and forced air unit out. There’s a raised floor that made room for the air return) that’s now in the ceiling). In your experience, what would the biggest concern about making this space into a walk-in pantry/broom closet?

Life has been feeling pretty surreal lately. I’m grateful for both the highs and the lows because they’ve all shaped this journey. More than anything, I’m thankful for everyone who’s been here for me through it all. Your love and support mean the world.

Quick setup & restring for @irenesentropy today before her Denver show.
I pulled the strings & found the pickups were making a loud “clunk” when they were moved.
Terrible noise that comes right through the speakers.
So I removed the pick guard & did a temporary shim repair til next time. Here’s the cavity markings
HC and SG519.
I also installed teflon wrap around the bridge & tailpiece studs to stop them from rocking back & forth. Much more solid now & it should hold tuning much better.

All tuned up, shined up &ready for the big show.

Last week was the most fun I’ve ever had making a record. The seriousness of subject was balanced by the amount of pure fun we had moving through a myriad of genres—Hip Hop, Rock, Gospel, and Americana are woven together to tell a beautiful story.

Thank you to @irenes_ecologist @milesnielsen1 @phampamps @nick_sterling @tone_kitchen for getting out of your normal comfort zone to create magic. We challenged ourselves with time signature changes, going off click track, and creating symphonies and beats off of nothing more than an iPhone audio track.

More to come, but for now please know I’m giving everything to creating stories and music and content that will uplift you on your own journeys. We can make the world a better place, and the change starts within ourselves. The next Door we walk through is always an uncomfortable knowing that we can’t stay where we are, we have to be okay with learning and changing. I’m so grateful for the Doors I’ve walked through that have lead me to this point in life.

Much of it is because of you, the people who have uplifted me and witnessed my journey. Thank you. My love and gratitude to you 💜

A trip to Michigan over Memorial Day weekend. I learned more about coffee roasting and coffee sourcing from @darkwatercoffeeroasters and @aldeacoffee ☕️

I have loved building @doorwalkerco and being involved in the coffee industry. This trip I also learned more about tea (keep following for future developments) 🫖

I also got to tour @msu.extension agriculture facilities and fields, harvest some of their asparagus, and explored Michigan sand dunes and coast line!

Such an amazing trip. I learned so much and am excited to keep growing and improving my own business. Thank you so much for your support and keeping up with my adventures!

If you love coffee, consider drinking @doorwalkerco in the morning and support me with every sip! 🚪☕️

The staining process is very labor intensive as you can here.
The custom SG for @irenes.entropy is approaching the finishing line.

@jaholt633 found that the purple had to be reduced and applied very carefully or it would have turned green!!
He avoided that disaster and now the mahagony color is completing the color scheme.
Tomorrow, he will steel-wool the whole thing & prepare for clear coat.
I think the deep reddish color really accentuates the rich purple. Can’t wait til the clear coat goes on so we can see the velvet ripples in the maple top.
Stay tuned fans, it’s getting exciting.
