A monthly touch of art, love, and intention delivered straight to your home... 💌🎨✨

After 33 years in the corporate world, stepping into my Second Act as a full-time artist was all about honoring a deep calling to serve. As a young girl writing letters to my father, I learned early on the quiet power of a tangible card—a touchstone of warmth, love, and connection. 🌿

That is why I created the Art Affirmations Membership—a monthly sanctuary in your mailbox to help you pause, reconnect, and remember your own Divine Magnificence. 🕯️✨

Each month, an inspirational parcel arrives at your doorstep featuring:

One (1) hand-signed 5″ x 7″ Giclée archival art print (ready to frame or send as a heartfelt note to a loved one) 🖼️

A personal letter sharing the background story behind the canvas and some news from my studio 📝

A curated quote or affirmation superimposed on my original marbled art 🌌

With just over two months left of 2026, so many of us are beginning to reflect, ground our intentions, and choose how we want to step into the upcoming year. Joining this gentle community—or gifting a subscription to a dear friend for Christmas—is a beautiful way to anchor your intentions in Harmonic Flow and beauty every single month. 🎁💖

Swipe through the carousel to discover how to join or send a gift through the website! 🕊️✨

Are you ready to welcome more art and quiet encouragement into your routine as we close out the year? 📖👇

Welcome back to Explore Art With Me! 🏛️✨

This time, we are standing in front of Edward Hopper’s powerful masterpiece, Hotel Room, at the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza. 🖼️🛋️

At first glance, it looks like a simple, quiet moment—a woman sitting on a bed, holding a piece of paper, surrounded by her luggage. But look a little closer, and you begin to feel the stillness... and the deep loneliness captured in the room. 🕯️

She is reading and sitting perfectly still, yet everything around her feels paused in time. Hopper had a brilliant gift for painting spaces where nothing overt happens, but absolutely everything is felt. The story isn’t in big actions or dramatic scenes—it lives entirely in the silence. 🌌

Technically, the painting is about what isn’t being said. Through the Language of Layers, Hopper invites us to look past the physical room and enter the inner emotional landscape of the subject.

In our own lives and in our Second Act, we often find that the most profound shifts happen in those quiet, solitary moments between life’s major events—when the world slows down and we are left alone with our thoughts. 🌿💖

How do quiet, silent moments make you feel—do they bring you peace, reflection, or a feeling of longing? 📖👇

I never know how it ends... I just start. Then I follow the colors, and something shifts—the painting starts leading me, and I simply let it. 🎨✨

Surrendering control at the canvas is where the true co-creation lives.

So often, we wait until we have a detailed map before we begin, but intuition doesn’t ask for a complete roadmap—it only asks for your presence and the courage to make that first stroke.

When I step up to an easel in my studio, I release the need for a final destination.

Through the Language of Layers, every line, vibrant hue, and unexpected curve becomes a dialogue. I follow where the piece wants to go, trusting that leaning into that Harmonic Flow will always reveal what needs to be expressed.

In this Second Act, learning to let go and let the journey guide me has been the greatest gift—not just in my art, but in my life. Every stroke is a gentle reminder of our own Divine Magnificence when we trust where we are being led. 🕯️💖

Do you prefer having every step planned out, or do you like to leave room to see where the path leads you? 📖👇

No specialty tools needed to create magic on your canvas! 🎨✨

After sharing my recent reel, my inbox was flooded with the sweetest question: “Irene, how can I make these circles if I don’t have a compass with that long extension arm?” 💫

I believe art should always be accessible, joyful, and deeply intuitive—you never need expensive or fancy equipment to create beauty! 🌿 All you need is your standard compass, a favorite brush, a little washi tape, and a tiny elastic band to hold it all together.

Finding these simple studio hacks is part of surrendering to the Harmonic Flow and leaning into the Language of Layers. It reminds us that creativity isn’t about what we lack, but about playing with what we already have right in front of us. 🕯️💖

Are you going to give this easy studio trick a try in your sketchbook today? 📖👇

I’ve been keeping a little secret…
You know my New Journey paintings. You’ve seen their colors, their energy, and the love I pour into every single one.

But there’s something you might not have noticed.

Look a little closer at my signature.
I sign these paintings also with Choco’s name… in Morse code. 🐾

Yes, my beloved Choco. ❤️

Some of you know that I lost my precious dog. And although I can no longer hold him in my arms, I’ve found a way to keep him close in something that means the world to me: my art.

Every dot and dash carries his name. A little secret hidden in plain sight. A message of love that doesn’t need to be seen by everyone to mean everything to me.

Because grief has taught me something I never expected…

Love doesn’t disappear when someone is gone. It finds new ways to stay. ✨

Choco may no longer walk beside me through the garden, curl up near my feet, or greet me with those eyes that seemed to understand everything. But he is still part of my story. In the quiet moments. In the love I feel. In every new beginning. And now, in every New Journey painting I create.

Perhaps that’s what these paintings mean to me on a deeper level. A new journey doesn’t mean leaving everything behind. Sometimes, it means discovering beautiful ways to carry the ones we love into whatever comes next.

So, the next time you see one of my paintings, remember that my signature holds more than my name. It holds a little piece of my heart. And a little soul who left paw prints on it that time will never erase. 🕊️

Choco, my darling, you will always be part of my journey. In dots, in dashes, in every color, and in every beat of my heart. 🤍🐾

Now, beautiful souls, tell me… Is there someone you carry with you, even though you can no longer hold them close?

I would love to hear their names. Let’s give them a little space here, together. ❤️
