5am workout with my boss!

One thing I appreciate is when people in leadership make time to show up, connect, and stay involved with their people outside of the day-to-day work.

Surround yourself with people who challenge you, encourage you, and inspire you to keep growing. The right people make you want to be better, not just in the gym but in life, too.

Grateful for leaders who lead by example and make time for their people. 🙌🏼

A few of our favorite shots from @hyroxamerica SLC

Pull hard. Breathe. Repeat.

One step at a time.

Find your pace. Hold onto it.

Settle in. Keep the pace.

Heavy hands. Steady steps.

Earn the finish.

2X Games Athlete Lon Allen joins Warren and Pat Haverty for a spirited conversation about Lon’s long road to the Masters CrossFit Games, the cancelled 2020 season, his experiences in Madison and Birmingham and the evolving landscape of the Masters CrossFit Games since separating from CrossFit HQ.

We also dig into how Hyrox and other CrossFit‑style competitions are reshaping the competitive calendar for Masters athletes, what that means for training, and how Lon is approaching the future of his own competitive career.

You can listen to the show on Spotify and Apple Podcasts with links in bio @legendsandmasters_podcast.

How about this mindset tip from @ironlon that he shared in his interview on the Silverback Media Podcast

It was a tip someone gave him while Lon was training for Ironman Triathlons that he carried with him into his competitive @crossfit career

He also shares a moment where he needed to be reminded of his own advice during his first experience competing at @wodapalooza and how that moment helped to reshape the rest of his experience

Take this tip and use it to continue to find presence in those daily moments where it can be easy to get lost in the frustration of what you may have going on!

For Lon’s full interview, check out episode 35 of the Silverback Media Podcast on Apple, Spotify, and Youtube!
