@unitedstatesprokartseries Finale at @lorainkartplex 🌧️🏁

The weekend started strong, with our drivers showing great speed in the dry before all racing action shifted to soaking-wet conditions.

Throughout two challenging days of racing, we continued improving, found more speed in the wet, and brought home some solid results. We’re proud of the team’s effort, adaptability, and determination to finish the season strong!

Memories for a lifetime

There are some things money can't buy, for everything else there's my [empty] bank account. 😅

#NightFight was an experience, again - 3 years in a row. I hoped things were going to work out to attend; but, when @mageemotorsports_002 got an opportunity for a seat, I was asked to be there. I was definitely going to make it happen. 💪

Thomas was super consistent through practices Thursday, and out-paced his entire group in qualifying to take pole going into Friday. Heat races went pretty well until he was [intentionally] taken out in the last few laps Friday night, throwing him into the LCQ on Saturday. He kept a lot of us on the edge in the LCQ, between torrential downpours, and pulled a last lap pass for 10th - putting him back in the main. An incident in the final wiped out positions he gained earlier in the race; but, he fought back to 35th in the wet for the checkered flag. I think @tm002_priv did awesome for the weekend, and it was great to be there to support him, see him drive a bunch of "firsts" in a national event with wild weather and fierce competition, and spend time with a close friend on a weekend that has a lot of history for me. ❤️

I spent some time with a couple dozen other drivers and family members, got to catch up with @oliver.wheldon, connected some more faces to names, and I even saw Roman McCurdy playing mechanic again. 💯

It was great to see everyone, be there to provide you guys moral support and photography, have some fun conversations and good times, and make some more memories. In some ways, I've worked hard to get to go do this, in others, I'm lucky to have the opportunities to do so. 🙏

P.S. I'm thinking @mageemotorsports_002 for @starschampionshipseries #RookieOfTheYear!! 👌

P.S.S. Way to go @travisapettit for another #Championship. 🔥

Some setbacks aren’t about racing — they’re about life getting in the way. A canceled Delta flight cost us one race. What cost us the other, most of you already know. But adversity doesn’t get the last word. We’re back, and we’re doing it at the race that decides the USPKS championship at Lorain Ohio Kartplex @lorainkartplex Nothing writes a better comeback story than that.

Want photos that freeze the moment? My friend Ken at Studio 52 @studio52photo has you covered.

Want the full story of your weekend — every pass, every battle, every celebration — captured in one incredible edited video? Check my bio or DM me. Let’s tell it right.

Stars Night Fight ‘25 still and motion memories

It’s been a different year in about every way. While I had Night Fight on my schedule again this year, my schedule has shifted so much from what I planned back in January.

With flying out for the 24H Barcelona endurance car race on Tuesday, unfortunately it was just too close to make both races work.

Best of luck racing this weekend! I’ll be watching on Kart Chaser while I get packed up for the race in Spain next weekend.

Solid weekend at Briggs and Stratton Motorplex at Road America for the Route 66 finale. Lots of speed, laps led and top 10 results. Some drivers had their fair share of bad luck, but the lessons learned through perseverance can outweigh results.

Thank you to our families, mechanics, partners and supporters for a great regional season!
