Some of my favorite moments from #intheheights this summer!! What an honor to study salsa and other Latin dance in Mexico earlier this year and then share a little as part of the show that’s most near and dear to my heart 🥰 Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!!

Spent my summer in Messina, on the battleground, and in Washington Heights (but I actually just lived at the @newprospecttheatre 😌) Special shoutout to Claudio; my first ever romantic lead role. Thank you to the directors for giving me the opportunity that I never thought I would get. I had so much fun bringing him to life and working with such amazing people :)

I spent my life in theater seats, dreaming of what it would feel like to perform on stage. I never felt like I was talented, confident, or pretty enough. This whole experience has meant more to me than words could describe, but the most meaningful part wasn’t the opening night, the glitter, the applause, or the final bow. It was the incredibly talented people who became my friends, and the nights at rehearsals where I got to witness their talent and ability to create magic. Very Pippin of me to spend years chasing the big, extraordinary moment only to discover that the ordinary moments were the ones that matter most. Thank you to this wonderful cast and crew for sharing their corner of the sky with me ✨

🦋Catherine,

I have so much love for this character. She’s fun, she’s kind, she’s complex, and she has this crazy mole on her face like omg you guys-

In all seriousness, I am forever grateful for the chance to have played this role. She brought so much change both to the story of Pippin and to me as an actor. She’s also been just so much fun for me to pick apart and find ways to fit her pieces together—like ask me anything about this character and I will likely have an answer for you lol! Catherine was so many firsts for me, and I am forever grateful to the folks who trusted me with this wonderful girl.

All my love to the cast and crew of this show. To my friends who shared the stage with me, who did my crazy hair before every show, who let me slap eyeliner on them every day before curtain, and those who watched me from the audience, I love you all dearly.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. And as Stephen Schwartz said in his poetic lyrics of Love Song,
la la la la la la la la la la💙
