The Students kick off the Global March for Palestine on the 10th of October, 2026.
Three years since the genocide started, and one year since the false ceasefire started.
Tāmaki Makaurau joins Aotearoa in starting the global movement, calling for sanctions on Israel, expelling the Israeli ambassador, and not supporting any parties that do so. The students of University of Auckland oppose their institutions complicity in genocide.

Fron the river to the sea, Palestine WILL be free

The ISO invites you to a Panel for Palestine on Wednesday October 7th, 6pm, UOA general library in the Reo Space. Come listen to our panelists share their experiences in the struggle against imperialism, and for Palestine.

Three years ago today the dam broke against Israel as the October 7 attacks reacted to decades of violent occupation. Gaza was put under active siege and Israel has since aimed for the wholesale destruction of Gaza and the eradication of Palestinians. The majority of hospitals, homes, universities, schools and infrastructure needed for everyday life have been destroyed by Israel. The whole population is subject to a ‘total blockade’ of fuel, water, medicine, food and electricity. Starvation and unsanitary, disease-breeding conditions have been used to collectively punish Palestinians. Polio, which was eradicated from Gaza 25 years ago, has reemerged and an epidemic was declared during July 2024. Projections of the Genocide put the number of deaths in the hundreds of thousands. A third of all murders by the Israeli state have been children.

Picket 🪧📣 This Tuesday 15th September 11.30am outside the University of Auckland Library. Rocket Lab and the University of Auckland share a strong collaborative partnership centered on aerospace research.

Is the university aware that court proceedings have been filed, challenging our government’s approval to launch BLACK SKY satellites from a ROCKET LAB base in Māhia, used to spy on Gaza by Israel? Join us to call out Rocket Lab for its complicity in Genocide📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣📣

Aotearoa Alliance of Progressive Indians supports this protest and we will guide all through it.
We first of all acknowledge this whenua, land on which we stand. We acknowledge the Treaty of Waitangi and the protections it offers to us all. We are all tauiwi. Settlers.
The Bill Of Rights allows us to gather in a public space to protest however since this is a collective experience we would like all of us to stay safe and look after each other. Especially those who have never attended a protest but want to come in support for their friends and family in India.
-We recommend bringing the Indian flag and placards.
-We will put out a run sheet in the comments in the coming days.
-Please familiarise yourself with the waiata, song Te Aroha. We will post that in the comments as well.
-We shall also sing the Indian National Anthem.
-Come in warm clothes and be weather ready. Make sure to carry water with you (even though it is winter you can get dehydrated).

Please share.
