Pensé que regresábamos a casa con las manos vacías, pero Dios sabe el proceso.

Agradecido con mi equipo y con todas las personas que pusieron su empeño para hacer esto posible. Desde que lo hicimos, sabía que íbamos a ganarlo. Supongo que la fe es la certeza de lo que no se ve, pero se siente.

Gracias, México, por ser mi casa y por darme la oportunidad de defender tu bandera. No fue mi mejor competencia, pero voy a regresar por la victoria.

Se lo dedico a todos aquellos que me ayudaron y pusieron su mano para traer a México a Escocia en una latica y, con humildad y respeto, hacerle saber al mundo de qué estamos hechos.

On 18 September, Impresario @impresarioindia and La Taqueria @lataqueriaindia curated the food at Mexico’s National Day celebration, at the Official Residence of Mexico in New Delhi. 🇲🇽

Around 800 guests, one unforgettable evening, and food that carried Mexico’s culinary heritage into the heart of Delhi.

None of it happens without the kitchen. Chef Shamsul @chefshamsulwahid and Chef Ashish @ashish_sharmadc led from the front, and the whole team came together behind them.

So proud of every single one of you.

From day one, the idea was simple: bring more of Mexico to India. Its food, its culture, its cantina spirit. Nights like this tell me we’re on the right road.

To the Embassy of Mexico in India @embamexind , thank you for trusting us with such a special night and for welcoming us so warmly.

It was an honour.
