Fifty years in the making, and the day is finally here! 🥂✨
I couldn’t be more thrilled to share that my new book, Half a Century Later: A Tapestry of Eras, Memories and Lifetimes, is officially available today on Amazon! 📚🎉
To mark this huge milestone, I’m spending my 50th birthday right where my heart is happy - on the beach in Morocco, surrounded by the ocean, warm sand, and my lovely family people . 🌊☀️🇲🇦
This book is a labour of love, a reflection on time, memory, and the beautiful, tangled threads of half a century of living. To everyone who has read an early draft, offered a word of encouragement, or followed along with my writing journey: thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support made this dream a reality, and I am so deeply grateful for each and every one of you.

An acrostic poem compilation of a few languages from the Indian subcontinent. We have genuinely tried to add in as many languages as possible. But insta allows only 20 slides, so 20 tags and five collaborators. So here it is.
A special gathering of different languages added as per geographical order and no other hierarchy.

🌸🖤🌸Konishiwa! Happy Wednesday! We have a double-surprise announcement today. Two B2B Winner announcements. And…it is August in a few days! We’re still all wondering - “Where did the time go, it was just spring. Is it really almost fall?” Yes, it’s true, so we are happy to announce the winners of the Kireji (Non-Seasonal) Senryu.
🖤A Senryu is either made up of Human Foibles (imperfections), or Dark Humor. Well, we asked and all of you delivered. We even challenged you to write a Senryu in the format with alliterations.
🖤We want to thank all of you for your amazing support and participation, once again. We remain humbled and have much gratitude. The Haiku Community shows up and we see the growth in all of your writings. We mentioned the Senryu doesn’t receive the love it deserves. It is more complex. But please read our winning entries and join in the sarcasm next time!

🏮Konichiwa and Atatakaku kangei shimasu (“wishing you a warm welcome).🏮
With the celebration of floating lanterns on Osaka, Japan’s waterways, we celebrated “Tenjin Matsuri,” held every July 24th and 25th, which is one of the country’s top three festivals, with thousands of drifting lanterns, or lights and fireworks, drifting and with it, bringing peace, prosperity and good fortune to all those who shared in its blessings.
🏮Our Prompt word: “Drift/ing,” was a Kigo (Seasonal) Haiku of three lines: 5-7-5, Syllabic, for this end-of-summer festival. How appropriate with it almost being the first of August and fall festivities right around the corner!
🏮What a pleasure it was to read a record number of phenomenal and creative entries, all clever, imaginative, wonderful imagery and within the proper format of the haiku.
🏮We wish to shout out a very special thank you to the beloved @jstvariousverse - our wonderfully engaging Guest Host, who knows plenty about writing Haikus and brought a fresh perspective to our writers with his engaging comments. We were so lucky he took time from his insane schedule to honor us with his participation. We are so grateful and humbled. Thank you so much, Arigato Jon!!
