On October 6, when this little angel came into this world… The world became a more beautiful place! We’ve been married almost 43 years this November. She is the reason why I breathe, why I live, and why I wake up every day with a smile on my face. Happy birthday, my beautiful Caprice! And here’s to many, many, many more orbits around the sun together! Happy, healthy, and prosperous birthday, my Queen! JackieBertone.com Studio percussionist Radio personality Peace Through Music™️

Just found this incredible photo of myself with Jeff Beck and Brian Wilson back in 2015 at Ocean Way recording on Sunset Boulevard. The album released is called PIER PRESSURE but unfortunately, Jeff Beck scratched his work from the project along with my percussion work… Thank you, Jeff! Here is a write up of the album: Times change but thankfully Brian Wilson never loses the joy in his music. He still writes beautiful melodies that defy the usual pop formulas and while No Pier Pressure had a long, difficult path to completion, its results sound as easy and relaxing as Wilson’s finest work. Longtime collaborator Joe Thomas salvaged ill-fated sessions with Jeff Beck and Don Was and with Al Jardine, David Marks and Blondie Chaplin falling in line behind, Wilson created some remarkable moments (“What Ever Happened,” “The Right Time,” “Tell Me Why”). The Deluxe Edition adds three glorious tracks to the album’s center (“Don’t Worry,” “Somewhere Quiet,” “I’m Feeling Sad”). Getting ready to shut the Studio down for the night and found myself in a very melancholy mood… Thinking about my Music mentor and dear friend, the legendary genius, Brian Wilson. Do you think that I have been blessed to have made music with this man for over 25 years still very mind-boggling to me. Bryan… It is with great hope and prayers that you have the most amazing choir in heaven singing, “Love and Mercy”! I miss you, my friend… JackieBertone.com Studio percussionist Radio personality Peace Through Music™️

Today, I was lying in the MRI tube at Loma Linda Hospital getting a check up on my multiple sclerosis, I had an epiphany! This is only my opinion, but, if this crew took over the White House things would be drastically different! In the words of James Gandolfini /Tony Soprano… “ HE’S GOTTA GO“! Going through some old photos and came up with this treasure this is me back in 1996 with the iconic late/great Carl Wilson from the Beach Boys ! What a true honor to have been the Percussionist on this album as this was the last album The Beach Boys ever made as a full group. This amazing album is the epitome of “Where the Surf Meets the Turf” with Vocalist Lorrie Morgan, Willie Nelson to name but a few. Go out and get you a copy you won’t be disappointed. Trust me!
