Before we Dance tomorrow here are the non-negotiables and some general info 🤍 The Music starts at 10pm and we recommend coming early to warm into the night and make the most of the experience.

Keep your phones off the dancefloor. Be present to make the most out of your night.
We’ll have a roaming photographer capturing the night - if you don’t consent to your photo being published, please send us a message through instagram

@its_jay.luv is no stranger to the Ōtautahi underground music scene. He has become somewhat of a regular at @twistedfrequencyfestival, having been offered sets three years in a row. A pure love for Electro and Footwork, birthed the radio show and club night @_luv_hub focused of nurturing the sound in Ōtautahi. He’s also landed international support slots alongside heavyweights like DJ Assault, Denham Audio, Mani Festo, and DJ Swisha. Planet Section pulls together sounds that don’t quite sit still. Things rub the wrong way, rhythms slip, pressure builds and spills over. It’s messy on purpose, nothing lines up clean, nothing resolves the way it should.

There’s a sense of push and drag throughout, like everything’s slightly out of sync but still moving. Some parts hit hard, others hang in the air a little too long. It holds that space where things start to bend, but don’t fully break.

It’s different energies crossing, clashing, coexisting for a moment before drifting off again.
