Education is changing, and so must the opportunities available to children in our communities.

During our 2nd Anniversary celebration, we were delighted to receive 230 books donated by @empowermentlibraries_t4b an initiative under @togetherforbetterfoundation led by @drarunavarsani , through our volunteer and photographer @its_vsion Eugene Muigai, who also works with @creatorsofimpactafrica . We also extend our sincere appreciation to @oshwallibrarynairobi for contributing to this generous donation.

These books will help strengthen our reading and learning programs, giving children greater access to knowledge and encouraging a lifelong love for reading.

The day also marked the launch of our Girls in Robotics, Technology and Computer Classes initiative. As the world becomes increasingly digital, we want girls in Mathare to have the opportunity to develop digital skills, explore technology, and build confidence in spaces where they have often been underrepresented.

This is only the beginning. We are now appealing for laptops, projectors, internet support, and partners who would like to help us build a digital learning space where every child can learn, create, and prepare for the future.

Thank you to everyone who continues to invest in education, innovation, and opportunities for children in Mathare.

Side effects may include:
Improved communication,

Stronger friendships,
And the sudden realization that hauko peke yako. Tuko pamoja kwa hii safari.
Proceed with caution.

What if young voices were taken seriously?

I had the chance to shine and stand on the TEDx stage and share something I truly believe in - Menstrual Stigma. It was a moment of courage, growth and finding my voice.

Still, I can't believe I did this. I am also really proud that I made it to the end, but this is just the beginning. I could only get this far because of my BEST coach (Ms Kayla) Kayla Huemer.

Watch it. Question it. Share your thoughts.

Because our voices matter.

THE TIME IS NOW. PERIOD
