Last weekend I was lucky enough to be involved with @castlewildcamp first event ever. And my god it was a good one. 📷⛺✨

A wild foraging walk with the brilliant and ever knowledgeable @eatthecountry followed by a stop at the @redhartbodham for a pint, and back to the camp for bushcraft and campfire shenanigans and flame grilled venison supplied by the amazing and talented @beasttoblock and of course more beer, guitars and singsongs late into the night with some much needed yoga hosted by @iamthestormyoga on the Sunday morning. 🥾🧭🍺🌿

What an amazing weekend. 🧘🏻

Much knowledge was shared with kin and friends. 🧡

I watched as a group full of 30 strangers from all different walks of life flourished into a wholesome community of foragers and friends. Eating, drinking and foraging their way through the weekend. 🍄🏕️✨

Cheers guys for a successful first event and here's to many more in the future 🍻🎉

Want to camp @castlewildcamp? Sign up to their newsletter and keep an eye on your inbox for the first to know about the 2025 calendar opening dates and future events🤫 🗓️🦉🚌

The feeling that comes with living and moving at one with nature is the most overwhelming sense of peace 🌿✨

Dreaming of living the simple life, exploring these lands forever, foraging food and building from scratch 🏠

This was day one of us exploring Norway, actually it was day 2 as we spent the entire first day and most of the night driving through spectacular wilderness and mountain passes. But it was our first on foot explore away from the cabin 🏠 The amount of happy memories from this place I cannot fathom 🥰🙏🏻

It's safe to say autumn is finally here🍂🧡✨

Last week our little village had almost a month's worth of rain in 24 hours. Another 24 hours later and both the chalk stream and the river have nearly burst their banks and flooded the meadow and I've never seen so much wildlife.

Cows stomping around in the flood water, our resident winter heron is back (we call him the dinosaur), the ducks playing and diving in the newly formed ponds, a pair of kestrels hunting field mice running from the rising tide, high up from the telegraph wires overhead, an otter running from bank to bank trying to save their flooded homes and nibbling on the cray fish being washed down steam in the flood currents.

It's all happening here, not noticed but only to the other ones patient enough to look and wait. We observe quietly as the ensemble is in full swing, not caring, not judging.

As the nights draw in closer, and the smoke drifts atop the chimneys, it all falls quiet. Waiting for the first, soft kiss of winter to set in.

Our amazing and cosy romantic getaway stay @upper_grove_farm nestled amongst the farmland of Suffolk in a converted train carriage. A few weeks ago @wabisabi.illustration and I went to stay here for one night after two weeks of city traveling for a final decompression stay in nature before we got back to our daily grind and my god, was it a stay to remember!! 🍂🌿🧡

Sitting here in bed this cosy Sunday morning, the morning after Halloween looking back over the memories of the insane road trip I've just got back from. This was by far the most beautiful place I have ever shot. We hiked for 2 hours in the completely wrong direction to find this location, only to find it was about half a mile in the opposite direction from where we started, but it's not always about the end destination, it's sometimes about the journey it took to get there.
.
I'm thinking about using my weekends to do road trip shoots this winter. Back up in Cumbria and Scotland so I can really indulge and immerse myself into my self portrait and photography. I also really want to take the drone out and make some epic arial content, I've got a few ideas in mind already 💡
.
Love all your wonderful faces 🧡 keep on exploring 🧭✨
