We’re not a big family, just a hard working one & the reflection going on over here on our 1 Year mark of business, it’s quite something. So many factors contributing to one family dream… When we came to Huron County, we came as a family. As soon as we started having children, we knew this is where we wanted to be. Not only is our family here, cousins to be raised with our kids, grandparents with the ability to be involved, it was the community as well. The slower pace of life, the kindness in strangers, the way the community really came together as one. Sometimes living here feels like an old movie but for us & where we came from it was a breath of fresh air. A new beginning at life. Everyone has our rolls over here to make this machine operate the way it has & that includes the people who have put there faith in us. We’ve worked on new builds, we’ve kept businesses going during their time of need, we’ve collaborated with other companies, we’ve completed jobs for the township & we have run strongly off of referrals. Happy customers. Strangers who became friends & were satisfied with their work. In our experience, people here are thriving to support quality they can depend on and people they can trust which makes it an absolute honour to have made such an impact in such a short time. We came here knowing nobody but our relatives. We came here with a dream. We came here for a life. Thank you… To the ones who have trusted us both behind the scenes & on the job site. It’s been a year to remember & this is more than a family business, it’s a family legacy. . . #goldstaraluminum #huroncounty #oneyearrecap #homeexterior #familybusiness

Oops 🙊 I debated out loud & then I changed my mind 😆 but I’m ok with that- it shows the depth of thought that go into both my brand & my business. @huronyourway The inspiration here was lifestyle photography in all ways- capturing your life, your way. Moving to Huron County allowed me new opportunities… new places to capture, families to meet, business to collab with, etc. I’m still going to tap into all of that right here. Many find it crazy to start your own businesses in places you don’t know anyone. There’s a challenge there for sure, but I wasn’t born in a place that did things the easy way. I don’t have a lot of joyful moments to look back on- on photo paper or memory. My passion for capturing yours comes from deep within my soul. So did my inspiration for @herlegacyhouse.co another brand, business & motion that will continue here. Boudoir photography is an art form that has held passion for me since long ago. There have been so many moments in my life where I was completely powerless in moments that should only happen when you feel powerful. I had to learn to love myself both on a surface & soul level. Boudoir photography helped me do that. Now I’d like to be on the other side of the lense helping other women do the same. This brand was separated because of the independent opportunities that boudoir photography can have & it was just a baseline of what was planned for the future. My goals never changed just because my bio may be less obvious. I thought in a long term vision when I created each of my individual brands. I took it to a next level when I created them as one. Thank you for your patience & everyone who’s supported my steps. I’ve created my ideal brand with my optimal way of serving those around me. You helped me get this far & everything is about to adjust- just enough to hold the authentic aesthetic & powerful messages that I strive for through this work. For real- thank you for finding me here 🥰🙏🏼 . . #rebrand #newpage #photography #contentcreator #nextchapter

What really made my heart beat both towards content creation & photography was travel- even just through Canada 🇨🇦 it was the first time I knew this was more than a hobby- it was a passion that held purpose. I also believe that’s why I didn’t make roots with my business before settling down with my family in Huron County, ON. Within 15-30 minutes from our home you can see some of the best beaches, walking trails, festivals & hidden gems that the beautiful southwestern Ontario region has to offer. It’s the feeling of being on a vacation without the passport! + it holds some of the most original, authentic, heart-centred businesses I’ve ever known run by some of the greatest people I’ve ever met. Shooting within your element can include me coming to places like your home or your place of business, where your authenticity lives 🏠 Or it can mean bringing your core & vision outside of your usual element, into the world 🌎 where you widen your element while creating core memories. Offering both photography, content creation or a combo of the 2 for all of your •Family Memories •Business Branding •Personal Milestones •Celebrations •Professional Portfolio Needs within the Huron County + Surrounding areas 📸 🫶 . . #huroncounty #photography #contentcreation #travel #huronyourway

The Plot Twist 💌 it’s so much more than photography here- both journeys started with the same pull of a heart string 🤍 Motherhood shifted my lens. My goals look different. My inspiration runs deeper. I see stories everywhere now- in the chaos, in the quiet, in the everyday beauty that we forget to document. Years online in NWM taught me how to create. Becoming a mom taught me why it matters. As outer family grew, so did the moments I wished I’d hired someone to capture the in-between- the real, the raw, the beautifully unscripted. I’m here to be that person for you. Photography will always live & grow here. We’re just building from more than one lens now 📸 🤳 . . #plottwist #contentcreation #photography #motherhood #capturingyourlifeyourway
