A month ago, I had to use the very thing I love, storytelling, for a task I never wanted to face: saying goodbye to my sister @itsbosa

Easily the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Compiling years of Bosa’s life into one 20-minute video, to honor her life and legacy in front of family and friends. Who doesn’t want that to be perfect? There will never be another Bosa. Her story will be told for generations. I’ll make sure of that.

I was honored to help start that process.
I was humbled by what it cost me emotionally.

To craft a narrative that gave people an inside look at who she really was. I grabbed archival footage. Old podcasts. Interviews. YouTube videos. Social media posts and pictures. Anything that could help paint the picture and tell her story right.

I swear I needed to be two different people to try and emotionally detach from making this video.
One who could feel, and one who could function to finish.

Not sure if this makes sense, but that’s the point.

I learned through this process to wear your heart on your sleeve, to face life and do it messy.

Confront what’s holding you back from expression.
Expression over suppression. Suppression leads to depression. Keep expressing it, instead of burying it.

I’d stop and just cry. Clip after clip. I’d cry out to God in the middle of it.

Bosa, through her story would either motivate me, inspire me, or have me spiraling…. But my peace rests in her love for Jesus.

I’m in New York, so I was screen recording everything, simply trying to get story on to timeline. When I got home to Dallas, 48 hours before the memorial, i rebuilt the thing from there, with two hours to spare…

I’m honored to get to share this video today on August 20th, Bosa and Etin’s birthday.

I am proud of the woman you’re becoming. You have a story to tell that will help free the world. There’s a reason why you’re on this earth and the plan God has for your life, NOTHING CAN STOP.

In honor of Bosa on the one-year anniversary of her passing, a group of us over @skillhouse.studio wanted to create from some of Bosa’s favorite scriptures. This is my contribution, inspired by Galatians 2:20.

I sang a melody to the passage alongside a rendition of words Bosa wrote and sang:

“Come and kill my flesh. Come and kill my flesh. I want to be the walking dead.”

Bosa wrote these words out of a prayer of surrender. Bosa’s greatest desire was to please God, laying down her own will to be fully yielded to Him. That’s the heart behind this song, and it’s the legacy she leaves behind.

“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me…” — Galatians 2:20

Today, we celebrate the life of our incredible friend and Co-Founder, Bosa. 
Bosa carried an unrelenting desire to create and to call creativity out of everyone around her. In her honor, members of our community have created original pieces inspired by scriptures she loved.
 Bosa would always say, “Creator. Created. Creation. Creation Creates.” 
Now, it’s your turn to create. Take one of her favorite verses and let it become something through your hands. A song. A painting. A poem. A sculpture. A mixed-media piece. Create, share it with the world, and tag us so we can celebrate it with you!

PART 2: 2025 | A Year of Obedience and Liberty

At the beginning of 2025, I went on a fast for the nation? the Lord spoke clearly: “Proclaim liberty.”

In obedience, we took a group to Philadelphia, to pray at the Liberty Bell, and we declared freedom and liberty across our land. While we were there, the Lord told us to go to the United Nations and receive communion. And in that moment, we heard Him say, “Next year, it’s the nations.”

At the start of 2025, I had little to no travel scheduled.
By the end of the year, we had been across the nation and around the world.

I’ve never regretted obedience to the Lord! What an adventure it is to follow Jesus!

I am blown away by all the Lord did in 2025, and I cannot wait to see all He’s about to do in 2026.

What a year it has been. Through the ups and downs of this journey, we have felt your love and support.

We want to thank all our clients past and present for trusting us to bring your vision to life. We know this year was especially meaningful because of the partnerships we had the privilege to be a part of.

This year, our dear friend and CEO, Bosa Odiase, went on to be with the Lord on July 10, 2025. This was a tremendous loss for us personally and within our organization. Yet we trust the Lord we serve and know she is with our Heavenly Father.

We continue to keep the Odiase family in our prayers and, with great joy, carry on what she began with us, committed to doing all that God commands.

We look forward to the year ahead and hope you will continue your journey with us here at Skillhouse.

Thank you for your support. We are truly grateful that we get to do what we do.

2025
A year of warring, intercession, freedom,
and lifetime bonds. This year, friendships forged by fire and prayer were a turning point in life.
I’ve learned much, but mostly how inadequate I am without Jesus and how much I am in need of him.

001 | JAN - Lifetime friendship visits with Brandon. Lots of joy and laughter.

002 | FEB - Another day of karaoke in Fort Worth with some of my favies.

003 | MAR - Our house flooded a few days after being remodeled and all I could do was laugh, because that could not take my joy.

004 | APR - My last date with @itsbosa . Lots of laughter and joy.

005 | MAY - Traveled to bahh-ston’ to watch Manny graduate.

005 | MAY - Traveled across Spain to celebrate our 10 year, but absolutely adored our days in Mallorca. One of the most beautiful places I’ve visited.

005 | MAY - How I felt at the end of May.

006 | JUN - What carried me through June.

007 | JUL - Took my baby siblings to Puerto Rico to get to see one of my favy places on earth.

007 | JUL - Learned that mourning a friend was more painful than one could describe.
