We had SUCH a good time at the Jersey Art Book Fair @densemagazine in February 💐- our first EVER zine fair ! And we spoke on a panel by the AMAZING @drawdownbooks ! Thank you to everyone who came to see us, all our friends who came to help out, all the new FIRE zinesters we met, and anyone who supported our work ! Also ...

Hey y'all - long time no see ! The revolution isn't always for Instagrams eyes - we been busy in the streets, at the protest, in the mosh pit, at the mutual aid distro, at our writing desks, at the community garden. Been thinking about how to continue engaging with y'all off this app - guess that's why we publish books, have a website, have community events !

We have a lot of things cooking for the summer :) see y'all on the porch ! Leave a comment - how you been?

Montez Press Radio’s fourth series, The Walk, is out now. Co-curated with Alex Wolfe @pppedestrian.

Allan Kaprow once said, “A walk down 14th Street is more amazing than any masterpiece of art.” So for this series, we invited artists, writers, thinkers, and others who move through the world attentively to respond to the idea of the walk. Through walking tours, field recordings, audio diaries, conversations, lectures, drifts, oral histories, and sonic walks, these works consider movement as both an artistic practice and a way of understanding contemporary life.

Contributors: Anna Kodé, Zach Rose, Stewart Home, Laura Grace Ford, Ingrid Burrington, Ethan Cohen, Michelle Sáenz Burrola and Alina Maldonado, Elena Biserna, Plank Magazine, Sam Korman, Bobby Puleo, Black History Walks, Minecraft Build The Earth, A Layered City, Nina Manandhar and Zakia Sewell, Dense Magazine, Manda Shutler, Mixteca, Lee Quiñones, Henry Street Settlement, Pamela Hernández, Darío Fernández, Sebastián Rojas, James Fuentes, Malcolm Peacock, Timmy Simonds, James Jordan Johnson, ambár luna

Had the pleasure of taking photos for the Jersey Art Book Fair (an exhibition of books, graphic novels, zines, posters, etc.) in Jersey City’s Journal Square last week. Beautiful weather and such a lovely and friendly community. #jerseyartbookfair #jerseyartbookfair2026 @itsdense

This past Saturday, I tabled at the Jersey Art Book Fair! It was my first time tabling this year, and I had a great time; the kindness of the staff and guests reminded me why I love doing these events. It was also special to be part of an art event in my own hometown for the first time - definitely something to remember!

Thank you @itsdense for inviting me, and to all who stopped by!! I had so many great convos with guests and exhibitors, and it was an honor to be alongside so many talented people.

(Also, a shoutout to my table-neighbor @kimjaovids - check out her beautiful riso zines and prints!)
