I set goals for this competition and I was able to achieve most of them. To everyone who’s supported me day in and day out thank you. To those who may not think I’m capable, thank you, I strive to prove I belong here. Proud to rep @adelantebarbellclub and get to perform with the people I can call family 🤞🏽 See y’all in October for Regionals ✌🏽

Even if it wasn’t my best performance, it felt great to step back on the platform after nearly two years and share the day with some incredible people.

Huge thank you to @father_iron88kg for putting on another excellently run meet, @paramountgymnj for providing such an outstanding facility and community to train in, and @ron.dad.lifts for handling me on meet day and putting up with all my antics.

To my friends and family — thank you for the support throughout prep and on meet day.

Finally, thank you to @prs_performance . I wouldn’t have stayed in powerlifting this long without your guidance, motivation, and friendship. Nearly 8 years, 9 meets, and still more work to do.

A lot to improve on, but I’m looking forward to the challenge.

I finally fucking did it, I have been chasing many goals since I started powerlifting and while I feel that I've achieved quite alot in that time I have also fallen short just as much. To finally have it all come together on a meet was a euphoric feeling and I got to do it at a meet with some of the best people in the NJ USAPL community. I think the funniest part about this is that this wasnt even a meet I was considering doing this year, it was sort of on a whim.

Thank you to my coach @bradcoolyard who was a big part of my success this weekend, we have only been working together a short time but the whole experience has been gamechanging and made me realize what my powerlifting training has been missing. Had a plan and executed perfectly and even had some room for more - next meet will be diabolical 😎

I want to also give massive respect to @father_iron88kg who not only competed at a national level meet just before this, he set up this meet, spotted and loaded and ran the operation multiple days, and even referee'd in his own flight - and still hit the nationals QT. You ran a great meet as always and continue to show out for NJ lifters, @usapowerliftingnj doesnt work without you

@megan_rod knows because I tell her all the time but her love and support no matter how annoying I can be is something I feel very fortunate to have. Couldnt have done this without her either 🤩

The Boyz @ron.dad.lifts @mikedemeo_ @lstomasiello lets run it back soon. Ron I owe ya a beer, thanks for thinking I had a green on bench 🌝

Also quick plug for @nexlevelsportsandfitness who has provided me with an amazing gym to train at. Top tier equipment and a great lifting community, come check it out and hit a lift with me 😁
