Extremely high notes are often easier to produce at a younger age, and generally more accessible in female voices.

Studies in voice science (e.g. Herzel & Reuter, 1997; Svec et al., 2008; Garnier et al., 2012) suggest that this is linked to vocal fold structure — including shorter length and tissue properties that can favour higher frequencies.

But here’s the important part:

Whistle register is not a must. It’s a possibility — when the voice is ready.

We don’t push the voice to go there. We create the conditions where it can happen — freely, gently, and without tension.

That’s what the Voice Flow Method is about.
And that’s why we created the Voice Flow Straw.

Using two straws, you release more air than with one. This is helpful when the vocal folds are too tight.

In this case, the vocal folds were a bit loose. Using one straw releases much less air, so the air slows down and gently pushes back. This helps the vocal folds come closer together, the air is released evenly in small doses, and the voice feels more stable!

P.S. Even though the note was quite low for @itskden age, with the right approach she was still able to reach it comfortably and correctly.

Drop a ❤️ in the comments if you like her voice 🥰

Hard work doesn’t hurt… when paired with smart work.
Thousands of repetitions and effort won’t harm your voice — if you reset it regularly!!
The Voice Flow Straw helps with just that: it releases built-up strain and tension after countless trials, so your vocal folds feel rested and ready for the next challenge.

@itskden knows that sustainable vocal work is built not only on effort, but on knowing when to pause, how to reset, and continue safely.
That’s exactly what we admire about this young artist 💜

What the audience witnesses on stage is only the final chapter. The real journey happens backstage—in the hours of practice, the sweat, the mistakes, and the courage to improve. A beautiful performance is always born from discipline and determination ✨💖
