What a wonderful time gathering couples for a time of rest, refreshment, and reset.

Planting churches is hard. Planting churches in inner-cities and under-resourced neighborhoods is even harder. So it's vital for couples doing this work to make sure they have time to connect, care for themselves, and chart a new or renewed course for flourishing.

Each year we gather our planters and spouses for such a time of investment. It's a reunion we eagerly look forward to--especially the wives who feel seen, welcomed, honored and just plain "off" from the full-time grind.

This year, we had the blessing of having Pastor Peter Rochelle and his wife, Kimberly, teach us some fundamentals about marriage and romance. Going back to the basics was exactly what we needed for renewing our covenants and our fellowship as husbands and wives.

When you support The Crete Collective, part of what you do is refresh these beautiful couples who the Lord has called to some of the hardest, most meaningful work. Thank you for your support!

And if you don't yet support The Crete Collective, consider becoming a monthly donor today. It's easy and every dollar goes directly to supporting gospel churches in neighborhoods that really need them. Start giving today: https://www.thecretecollective.org/give.

The blessing of finding a person to become ONE with is indescribable. Beyond a soulmate because we’ve been brought together in Christ first and he turned the dials of love all the way to the right for us. There is no life for me without this love!

How can you capture hours of joy and praise in 90 seconds? You can’t, but these were some of the highlights from the @intervarsityfl BCM/ @identitydaytona Block Party this weekend. It was such a joy to host this at our place. I’ve still been creating daily just not posting everything here because some creations have needed more work, like this one. But so worth it! Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen!

Behind every sermon, every visit, every late night prayer, is a pastor and a spouse carrying the weight of ministry together.

And the truth is, many of them are stretched thin. Studies show high levels of burnout, isolation, and stress among pastors and their families:

• Around 70% of pastors report feeling burned out or distressed at least once a month.
• Over half say they feel lonely or isolated in ministry.
• Almost 40% of pastors have seriously considered quitting full-time ministry in the past year because of the pressure.

As we consider our end of the year giving, we have an opportunity to pour back into the couples who pour out for our churches.

Help us provide the rest, renewal, and support they need to stay faithful for a lifetime of ministry in vulnerable and often neglected neighborhoods.

Fuel Faithfulness.
