Comment “7” and I’ll send you links 🔗 ↓ open Lazy Girl Rituals: 7-step oral care 🤍 This is how a full oral care day looks for me, in that exact order. I do this version with plaque indicator at least once a week Oil pulling → copper tongue scraper → floss → plaque indicator → water flosser → brushing → whitening powder with a single tuft brush Why the plaque indicator? It stains the plaque pink, so I can actually see where the bacteria are sitting and which spots I keep missing when I brush, and that is what makes this a really proper clean for me. Mine are the little cotton swab ones I found on Amazon, they are made for kids, but works for adults as well 😃 #oralcare #dentalcare #oralcareroutine

🦷 Oral Care’s Second Wave Is All About the Microbiome Oral care is entering a new era. After a first wave defined by elevated packaging and innovative ingredients, emerging brands are taking a more holistic approach, bringing skincare-inspired formulations, multistep routines, and wellness-focused positioning to the category. As the lines between beauty, wellness, and oral health continue to blur, brands are rethinking what belongs in an everyday oral care routine and how to turn consumer interest into lasting habits. 💡 Key insights from: • Sarah Mountcastle Mitchell, General Manager, Boka (@boka) • Priya Shah, Co-Founder, Köppen (@itskoppen) • Dr. Eve Lofthus, Founder, Evenmouth (@even.mouth) • Dr. Arthur Glosman (@dr.arthurglosman), Cosmetic Dentist, Beverly Hills Veneers • Dr. Victoria Veytsman (@drvictoriadds), Founder, Rose Code (@rosecodebeauty) • François Bonnat (@francoisbonnat), Co-Founder, The Smilery (@thesmilery.co) • Ashley Schroeder (@ashschroeder), Co-Founder, Mouth Loob (@mouthloob) 📝 Sara Spruch-Feiner (@sarajanenyc) Tap the link in our bio to read more. #OralCare #BeautyWellness #BeautyInnovation #BeautyBusiness #BeautyIndustry

Not all mouthwash is doing the same job. The category is moving beyond the familiar alcohol + antiseptic formula, with brands building around different mechanisms: xylitol and neem for microbial control, hyaluronic acid for hydration, zinc for volatile sulfur compounds, and emerging nano-silver technologies for antimicrobial activity. The interesting part isn't simply whether an ingredient is "natural" or "advanced." It's whether there is credible research behind what it is actually designed to do. We looked at four formulas, four mechanisms, and the research behind each. Swipe through, then tell us: what problem are you actually trying to solve with your mouthwash? #Denté #ModernDentistry #OralHealth #Mouthwash #DentalInnovation #DentalScience #PreventiveDentistry

One of the fastest ways to be forgettable as a brand? ➡️ Joining an existing conversation instead of creating a new narrative. When you try to emulate brands you love, or success that has already been created, you end up sounding and looking the same, and competing with. everyone else in your category. 😔 That’s not the way to standout… When I worked as a brand consultant to create @sama.oralhealth with Founder, @drjaskaren every dental brand was launching the same millennial branded clean, mint color palette studios and IG profiles, talking clean teeth and pretty smiles. We went somewhere else entirely - oral microbiome health and longevity - years before oral care became the wellness conversation it is now 👀 meaning SAMA was covered in tons of press like @bustle @voguemagazine @wwd and Jas was a judge for a @cosmopolitan beauty contest. ⏩ 3 years later - this category is being covered in @voguebusiness and expanding into a bunch of product categories like ones mentioned in the video @mouthloob @itskoppen @goflaus @bastetritual ❤️‍🔥 That’s what we do with proper (sticky) positioning: Stop competing and start leading. Your Unique Brand POV is one of the 5 parts of Sticky Brand DNA™ we build together as the foundation of your marketing, content, and sales. So… what’s YOUR Unique Brand POV? 🧐 Or are you following along and blending in with everyone else? Comment “SBDNA” below, to receive the full Sticky Brand DNA ™ framework and a 2-Part Sticky Brand Playbook to personalize it for yourself. 😘 - Sax

The parts of the oral care routine nobody talks about, lips, on-the-go touch-ups, comfort, hydration, actually have real science behind them. Lips are genuinely, biologically different from facial skin, no sebaceous glands, thinner keratinization, confirmed dermatology. Plant oils are real, semi-occlusive hydrators with published clinical evidence. Interdental picks won't reduce plaque the way brushing does, but they do meaningfully improve gum bleeding. Magnolia bark extract has real, replicated research behind its antimicrobial effect on bad breath. Oral probiotics have genuine RCT support for shifting the bacteria that cause odor, not just masking it. And aloe vera has real, if still developing, evidence in oral care, one trial found it performed equally to chlorhexidine. Six brands, six ingredients worth understanding properly, not just listing. #OralCare #TheDentalFounder #ModernDentistry #TheDenté32

@voguebusiness just wrote about a $500 toothbrush. The toothbrush is not the story. Vogue covering oral care at all is the story. That set runs 16 to 20 feet, and it has not listened to the consumer in over a decade. Colored, clinical, plastic, harsh. Used 2x day, then hidden in a cabinet. Nobody loves it. Nobody films their oral care routine the way they film skincare. It was built off the dentist chair: a must do, not a want to do. Compliance, not ritual. When the price ceiling moves that far, the consumer was never the constraint. The shelf was. These founders are building the version that does not exist yet. Counter worthy instead of cabinet worthy. We lived the legacy side of this @movewithwade. The consumer moved a long time ago. Vogue just put it on display. How are you thinking about your oral routine today?
