Truly taking each day at a time 😌 Walking in “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭NLT‬‬

💧 MEET KENYA 💧

Hey there! I’m Kenya. 🤩

🔥 The Foundation: First and foremost, a daughter of Christ. My love for Jesus is the anchor of my life and how I show up on the mic.

🪴 My Life: A proud wife and cat mom of two! Cybersecurity professional by day, fitness and wellness enthusiast in between.

💪🏾 The Fitness Love Story: Heavy strength training and classical Pilates completely transformed the way I view movement. Drip Mode seamlessly brings those two worlds together, creating a workout that challenges your body and sharpens your mind.

🥰 My Vice: A flawless, matching, beautiful workout set.

🕊️ My Favorite Moments: The first quiet moment of class and the cold towel moment at the very end. This is where I get to slow down, speak life into you, and pour back into the community after we embrace the fire.

I’m so excited to be an instructor here at Drip Mode and I can’t wait to connect with everyone! ❤️‍🔥💧

🔥 VIVA LA BURN was on another level today! 🔥

Coach Tish brought the HEAT with a 90-minute grind that pushed everyone past their limits 💪 Every rep, every sprint, every drop of sweat—earned.

🔥 The squad showed OUT and crushed over 13,000 calories burned as a group! That’s what happens when you level up together.

Big shoutout to Perrydise Nutrition for pulling up and keeping everyone refreshed with amazing post-workout drinks 🥤 You made the recovery just as strong as the workout!

If you missed this one… you definitely missed something special. Stay ready for the next one 👀🔥

We glorify the grind like it’s gospel. Late nights. Overstuffed schedules. “No days off” energy. But that’s not kingdom living. That’s cultural conditioning. You weren’t built to run on fumes. You were designed to live in rhythm, with rest baked into your blueprint.
.
Sabbath isn’t soft. It’s sacred. From the very beginning, God showed us the way. Six days of work. One day to breathe. Not because He needed it, but because He knew we would. Rest isn’t about being lazy. It’s about being aligned. It’s not a luxury. It’s a lifeline.
.
Even Jesus knew when to pull back. He stepped away to pray, to breathe, to reconnect with the Father. So why do we think we’re the exception? Rest is a weapon. And in a world that wants you drained, distracted, and disconnected, choosing peace is spiritual warfare.

Y’all, I’m grateful. Grateful for this quiet little private gym that lets me show up, no distractions, no excuses. When I say training is spiritual, I mean it. This is where I remind my flesh who’s in charge.

Today was back and biceps, and at the end it turned into worship and cardio . During that long cardio session, I realized I had my own sanctuary. A place where I could worship God with my body and through the speakers. I want to encourage you to move your body and to protect your temple.
.
God gave you that body to carry glory. Not excuses. So get up, get moving, sweat it out, and sing while you do it. You’re stronger than you feel. You’re loved more than you know. Praise Him for every breath. 💪🏾✨🙌🏾

It’s not about abs.
It’s about alignment.
.
Galatians 5:22–23 says:
“The fruit of the Spirit is… self-control.”
.
That fruit doesn’t just show up in prayer.
It shows up in how you move, how you rest, how you eat, how you train.
If your fitness journey is all about how you look, you’ll miss how God wants to form you.
But when health becomes part of your discipleship?
It stops being a performance.
And starts becoming worship.

Jesus meets us exactly where we are.
But He never leaves us exactly as He found us.

Walking in step with Christ is not the end of the story; it’s the beginning of the transformation. Grace is not permission to remain unchanged. It is the power to become. To soften where we were hard. To strengthen where we were weak. To reorder what sin once disordered.

If the Christian life were only about being affirmed in our present state, it would be a relationship without sanctification, intimacy without formation, salvation without fruit.

Through Christ and His Word, a woman can expect to become steady where she was scattered. Disciplined where she was drifting. Tender where she was guarded. Bold where she was shrinking. Clean where she was compromised.

Not overnight.
Not through performance.
But through daily surrender and slow obedience.

Becoming is sanctification.

And yes, my Substack is part of that story too. Not because I’m the source of change (AT ALL) but because I am choosing to walk in it everyday. The doubts, the discipline, the pruning, the repentance, the rebuilding.

If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like to actually be changed by the Word and not just inspired by it, you may find pieces of your own becoming in my journey.

Read along my journey and where I'm at on Substack :) link in bio.

P.S. do y'all see that tricep peeping through thoooo??
