goldy marathon done and dusted ✅ I didn’t crack sub 4 but got super close. Proud of myself for holding a steady 5.38min pace up until 35km - where once again I was humbled by this beast of a race.

Still super happy with the result - a 21minute PB from the Sydney marathon last year 😌

Some of my happiest and silliest memories as a kid was running amock with friends at school sports carnivals with close to 0 fucks given. Being silly is something I cherish more as I age, so I wanted to host an inner child play date w my nearest and dearest - A sports carnival - zodiac element themed 🔥 💧 🌏 💨 (bc you always gotta have a theme) this year to ring in the late 20s bracket 🎈
And the late 20s doesn’t seem that scary, when you are surrounded with people like this. People who show up and commit to the most stupid games and make new frenemies, just so that you can have a good time. Grateful doesn’t even begin to cusp the feeling I have for them. ☺️ (sorry I’m capped at tags 😅)
