June 18, I drank mezcal with family and saw one of my best girls for the first time in over a year.

June 19, I FaceTimed my Pawpaw, drank more mezcal, ate bbq, fellowshipped with some Clark Atlanta greats, cried at a table with four of my favorite people, and gave thanks when I blew out my bday candles, because my wishes have come, and are coming, true.

June 20, I celebrated my new year on the first day of summer. I bowled my best game ever. I laughed with my sisters. I took a shot, and kept said shot down (IYKYK). I expressed gratitude for the people who, no matter where I am, always make me feel at home. And I my-my-my’d at the man who remains my God, then you.
