The term “keyboard wizard” 🎹 🧙 gets thrown around loosely sometimes. In the case of @itsmattjenson , it could not be more accurate. The dude is actually a piano professor at the prestigious Berklee School of Music with a focus on neoclassical piano. He’s also a member of the acclaimed reggae band, Groundation. This Thursday, he’ll be bringing his remarkable talents to the table along with a new roots reggae project called The Impermanent Nature of All Things. @t.i.n.o.a.t The band is loaded with incredible players including @samily_music on bass, Jah Walks on guitar from @thepurityattack and @matthewclangley on sax.

Here’s a taste of the Professor in action last night, sitting in with a bunch of killers @goldeneralounge for the birthday celebration of @panchotomaselli

We’re very excited to be playing Nevada City next Thursday 5/28- we will be joined by the PROFESSOR and incomparable @itsmattjenson on keys, as well as the amazing Matt Langley on sax- this will be an incredible journey through roots reggae and dub, meets incredible musicianship and exploratory instrumentalism.
