I’m so grateful for the track sessions this Summer. They truly were the best part of training! The energy, encouragement and support from every runner pushed me to be better, dig deeper, and keep showing up! Thank you to the green group! 💚 You guys made every hard workout worth it.

So much fun being a kid again. Getting timed in the mile just like back in gym class. Amazing event put on by @heartbreak.run and @coachdanbos . My first Mob Mile did not disappoint and can’t wait till next years. Goal was sub 6, came up just shy at 6:05.
Got some work cut out for me!

What an amazing night! 💙 The ALS Impact Council teamed up with the Gansett Run Club at Narragansett Brewery to raise funds for ALS Rhode Island and take on the Ice Bucket Challenge.

A huge thank-you to everyone who showed up, got soaked, donated, and helped support such an important cause. Your generosity and enthusiasm made the night one to remember!

Missed your chance to participate? Don’t worry — we’ll be bringing back the Ice Bucket Challenge at our Walk next weekend, so there’s still time to take the plunge.

Donations are still greatly appreciated. You can support ALS Rhode Island by visiting the Linktree in our bio!

What a great way to spend a Wednesday in August! Supporting a great cause, wearing awesome sneakers and getting dumped an ice cold bucket of water! Thanks to @gansettbeer for helping us raise money for @alsunitedri. And a special thank you to @__jazz.w for supplying some fantastic footwear!

p.s. let’s all send @itsmesteven a BIG happy birthday! Happy happy birthday King, we couldn’t do all of this without you ❤️‍🔥

ANCHOR DOWN ULTRA NIGHT at REI
presented by @hoka

The countdown to the 2026 Anchor Down Ultra is on, and we'd love to spend an evening with you before race day.

Join us on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. for Anchor Down Ultra Night at REI, presented by HOKA, at the REI store in Cranston, Rhode Island.

REI Cranston
22 Chapel View Boulevard
Cranston, RI 02920

Whether you're preparing for your first ultra, chasing a new distance, or returning for another lap around Colt State Park, this is a great opportunity to connect with the Anchor Down Ultra community.

The evening will feature:
A look at what makes Anchor Down Ultra unique and what to expect on race weekend.
HOKA footwear guidance from Antonio Tovar Sandoval, HOKA representative and multi-time Anchor Down Ultra finisher.
Stories, training advice, and race-day insight from experienced Anchor Down Ultra runners.
A presentation from Kathy Jacques, four-time women's champion and current course record holder.
Plenty of time to meet fellow runners, ask questions, and browse the store after the presentation.
Our own Steven Blais will be joining us to help lead the evening, and we're excited to welcome both familiar faces and runners discovering Anchor Down Ultra for the first time.

The event is free to attend, but registration through REI is required.

We hope you'll join us for a fun, relaxed evening celebrating the community that makes Anchor Down Ultra so special. We can't wait to see you there!
