✨ 55 POUNDS DOWN. GOAL REACHED. A WHOLE NEW CHAPTER. 💪🏼❤️

Today feels like a milestone worth sharing! On January 28, I started a health journey at my heaviest. Ten months later, I woke up at my goal weight! 55 pounds down, but SO much more gained! 🙌🏼

As a mom of two powerlifters, I was introduced to the best of the best—my coach, Mason Pukala—and I’m so grateful I took that first step! 💪🏼 @onlygravitysystems

Together, we dug into the reasons behind my uncontrollable weight gain and why I just wasn’t feeling well. Between understanding my hormones and finding the right action plan, things finally started to click. Huge thanks to Mason and Optimize U Cleveland for helping me find a path forward!

Was it easy? Absolutely not! Showing up, trusting the process, and staying consistent takes REAL grit. But today, I feel better than I have in YEARS! I feel strong, energized, and excited to move again.

I may not be a powerlifter like my kids, but I DO lift heavy! 💪🏼 And this triathlete at heart is getting back to those long runs I love so much! 🏃🏼‍♀️❤️

This journey has been about so much more than a number on the scale. It’s about my health, confidence, strength, and feeling like ME again. What an incredible gift!

To my family, friends, and everyone who has helped me along the way—THANK YOU! ❤️

If there’s one thing I hope you take away from my story, it’s this: You are never too far gone to start. Taking care of yourself is worth the work.

55 pounds down. Stronger than ever. And JUST getting started! 🚀

ONWARD & UPWARD! ❤️💪🏼🎶

A couple weeks ago I thought Id bottom out on squat because of form.
Ended up hitting a PR to comp standard!
3/3 for squat!!!

253.5-PR!🟢🟢🟢

I honestly could have loaded more, but I believe it was the right decision to progress the way I did!

Now for the next few pictures I had the best group of people cheering me on. Couldn’t have asked or wanted more. Every single one of these people means so much to me that they all deserve a spot!

This is just me:)

This is Carlie! @carliftscars
Not alot of people can say they competed WITH their best friend. Well we did. And what a blessing. Carlie is genuinely such a powerhouse and inspiration to me and I am so excited to see where we go from here!

This is my parents, they traveled from Colorado just to come see me lift some “heavy circles” and resulted in me crying and my dad smiling ear to ear, I love my dear parents so much!!!!

This is my coach, It honestly was the biggest blessing meeting Mason when I did!! He unlocked my superpowers and helped accomplish the best I could!!! Forever grateful for this first meet!!! @itsonlygravity
Lets kick some more!!!!

This is Cherith! @cheriths.fitness_ This girl is also a powerhouse!!! She isnt afraid to give me the harsh truth and love. And she is also under the same coach! She is on her way to becoming even more stronger!!!

NEW WORLD RECORD! 🌎

What a wild ride. If you’d told me a year ago that I’d be competing at the @iplpowerlifting Olympia and breaking a world record. I would’ve called you crazy.

This past year has been a crash course in powerlifting. I’ve learned so much, found my rhythm, and grown more comfortable competing outside of military competitions. I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come, and I’m still taking it all in.

I owe so much to my wife, @smithmachinette, for supporting me through these wild adventures. Thank you for holding down the fort while I’m away. I can’t wait to get home, get back to work, and keep pushing forward.
