So of course I believe in privately AND PUBLICLY giving people their flowers ESPECIALLY BLACK WOMEN. I was going to save this for my “Thank A Black Woman Tuesday’ speeches lol But this can’t wait ❤️Can we talk about @itsrobinj founder of @indiecreatorsociety which believes “The Business of Creativity is Their business”. They want to change the formula and help Give back to Black creatives so we can optimize for success. I was super blessed to be gifted with an IPad AIR by these dope people, this past Christmas by entering a giveaway @indiecreatorsociety hosted on their page. I received my IPad in January and was able to get to work with the final touches, editing of my book all on this IPAD I received from them. My laptop is on its last legs and hanging on by a little thread lol, so wasn’t quite doing the job. I resigned from my job in November for my 30th birthday and I had to prioritize getting other things in my life, and buying a laptop, was not one of them, so this IPad came in the Knick of time. I have been working on this children’s book for close to 4 years and have had many hiccups along the way but I would not have been able to finish it without this IPad. In the middle of the night laying with my baby on the side of me in the bed I was on this IPad finishing this book and BLOSSOM CREED children’s book is finally DONE🥳🥳🥳🥳 and up on websites now ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿👊🏾!!!!! Thank you, THANK YOU!!!! Thank youuu!!!! Forever Grateful. @itsrobinj it’s women’s history Month, I celebrate you and thank you for pushing the culture forward #becauseofyoutheycan ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽Take your flowers sis 💐 🌸💐🌸💐

You saw the dream. You got the dream. And then you realize … this actually isn’t what I want. 😫 Here’s the bright side…

You figured out more of what you don’t want. And in doing that, you’ve closed in on more of what you DO want. But most importantly, you had the guts to give it a shot. A lot of people let fear hold them back. You weren’t one of those people. Celebrate yourself for that RIGHT now!

Whether it’s a person, job, or a new city you thought was for you and it wasn’t, at least you were brave enough to try.

We’re already giving you a round of applause 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

When I sat down with @ki.storii and @arod2up and we went over our goals for the video, I said I had two goals: I wanted to reach 100,000 views and get on BET, so my momma could watch me on her TV talking nasty lol. To hit a "hunnid" in a little over a month, as an up and coming label out of little 7 mi radius Trenton means a lot to me.

Everybody I tagged played a part, directly or indirectly (no spam). Y'all showed love, showed us info, or inspired us to keep working. 100K is just one minor step, but one worth appreciating. The Renaissance is coming tho. Jersey, we here.
