Impressively big vibes at the newly opened and very small dining room at @itsromy.nyc

With many recent closings and reopenings of old spaces turning a new- I have to say I did not recognize this as the old @littleprince whatsoever - and while sad to see the iconic spot go, ROMYs redesign is a big yes from me

And also, you can checkout with @bilt ?!? Make that a huge*** yes from me

Order:
- caviar service & lobster fritters
- Caesar salad
- chicken w/ white balsamic & gremolata*
- broccolini*
- chocolate cake*

Will it be the best bite of caviar you’ve had in recent memory? No. Is it absolutely necessary to match the energy of the room? Yes

Sister restaurant @cucinaalba make a fabulous chicken so not surprised to be a fan of theirs as well- and the broccolini is a sleeper delight. But the star is undoubtably the chocolate cake - like many other reviewers who have had many a chocolate cake slice in nyc but claiming this to be one of the better ones, I will echo the same. Fab

Come for drinks and a light dinner or share some dishes for the table - but mainly enjoy the intimate scene of it all. Feels very supper club / private members energy and not a bad seat in the house. Or if you need somewhere for a buyout / private event upcoming- I’d point you here.

(Also have to pay respect to the custom branded potato chip bags)

@willmakris and I built Romy for one reason: dinner parties that run late. See you at 199 Prince St.

Was dying to try the newest hot steakhouse Romy and the vibes here are really the reason to come. Shockingly small space here which makes the whole meal feel very intimate. The bread and butter they start you with is absolutely excellent and warmed to perfection. Started with the fried lasagna bites and prawn. Both were good but nothing life changing. For mains we had the Romy burger, steak au poivre and halibut. For a steakhouse my favorite was actually the halibut, super light and refreshing with the sauce. The burgers a nice thick patty which I appreciated and the steak was cooked well. Side of fries were piping hot and reminded me of McDonald’s in a good way but came with 0 ketchup or dipping sauce. Side of whipped mashed potatoes is of course a must at any steakhouse and again these were solid but not a stand out. Had to get the chocolate cake to close it all out, very fudgey rich cake that came out chilled, good but again I’ve had better chocolate cakes. All in all this place is definitely a cool vibe with solid food but I wouldn’t rush back🍸🍔🍟 🥩
