HOW SOON IS NOW: a semiotic, paleolithic hand painting spitting ochre on a cave wall obscuring JOHNNY MARR and JAMES WALBOURNE on stage in Nashville a million miles away from #manchester and #thesmiths closer to #chuckberry and #london great to see Johnny Marr at Christie’s which was semiotic, a cultural signifier moment: indexical and iconic, the guitars being that moment as HIS guitars that Fender made, as signifiers and the signified!

The music industry throws superlatives around with abandon but seldom do you have the fortune to work alongside somebody who is genuinely iconic, inspirational and as relevant as ever. More importantly one of most generous souls on and off stage. Happy release day #johnnymarrgram

Bloody Marvellous 🎸

Marr’s Guitars: The @johnnymarrgram Collection - quite staggering to see so many of these iconic guitars in one place and up close. The amount this man’s achieved in music, and continues to do, is incredible.

I returned for the first part of @christiesinc’s auction, led by the superb @yugeyo, which was some experience. Great to see so much raised for @guidedogsuk and @nationalautisticsociety as well 👏👏👏

@oasis Don’t Look Back in Anger - a documentary film which follows Liam and Noel Gallagher’s 2025 reunion tour. Today, Oasis announced a huge tour for 2027.
38-dates spanning the UK, Europe, and North America. Highlights include an 11-night Manchester residency and a historic 4-night return to Knebworth. This is going to be biblical as Liam would say.

Manchester 🐝, Roma 🍝, Puglia 🍷

@itssonnyhere Thanks again for your kindness. You are a beautiful person, it shows in your eyes.
I hope to meet you soon in Rome... or maybe at Afflecks over a coffee! 🤣

E GRAZIE a @johnnymarrgram per creare ricordi così indimenticabili 🎸🐝💍
