this is my take on a jalapeno cream cheese bacon jam smashie inspo by @walters.diner creation 2x 80g patties hit the @weberbbqausnz slate grill with thinly sliced onions and fresh sliced jalapenos and pressed hard they then got some seasoning and laid on top some burger cheese and steamed then the top and bottom bun were lathered in a mixture of cream cheese and @jammedup_baconjam peach inferno bacon jam while the patties got drenched in @itsthetastystuff kiwi & jalapeno hot sauce (YUM) and we ended up like this. absolute 10/10 combo #smashburger #smashie

MARKET STUDIES. A recipe series as a result of a dangerously good haul from The Little Food Market. Cherry Chipotle Glazed Swedish Meatballs with @itsthetastystuff 🍒🌶️🟤 
IKEA Meatballs: Director’s Cut. Turns out the Allen key wasn’t the only thing missing. MEATBALLS (or cheat and buy some IKEA ones) 3 slices white bread, blitzed in food processor 300g pork mince 300g beef mince 1 clove garlic 1 egg 1 brown onion, finely chopped 1 tsp ground allspice 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg Salt and pepper Oil, to fry Mix everything well, form into balls and fry in the oil until cooked through. Remove from the pan, keeping them covered and warm. Wipe out the pan and make the glaze. GLAZE 150ml The Tasty Stuff Cherry & Chipotle Fruit Hot Sauce 60ml beef stock 2 tsp apple cider vinegar 1 tbsp butter Whisk together hot sauce and chicken stock in the pan over medium-high heat. Whisk in the vinegar and butter, cook until melted and thickened a little, then add back the cooked meatballs and toss to coat. SHINY! SWEDE GRAVY 40g butter 40g plain flour 350g beef stock 100ml thickened cream 2 tsp soy sauce 1 tsp dijon mustard Little splash Worcestershire sauce Melt the butter in a small saucepan, whisk in flour and cook over medium heat until blonde (about 2 mins). Add the remaining ingredients and whisk until smooth, then cook, stirring occasionally, until the thickness you like. Serve the glazed meatballs with the creamy gravy over buttery mashed potato and peas.
