Got to stay & play at @ramshillgolfclub . It is ranked No. 91 on Golf Digest’s America’s 100 Greatest Public Courses.

Also this is my 2nd round of 18 since my kidney transplant 7months ago. So obviously before playing one of the best public courses in the country… I had to warm up on the simulator in the house 😂

Priorities.

Thanks for having us @ramshillgolfclub
Can’t wait to be back 🙏🏽

My last post I was writing about frustration of not being able to get up on my board. Today, this video reminded me of all the hard work I did to even get back in the water.

When I got diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure, surfing completely stopped. Had a port in my chest that connected to my heart so I’m able to do treatment. Fast forward, I got my transplant and these are the different stages I went through for the past 5 months just to get in the water. I AM GRATEFUL. I know everything will click one day, but till then I keep working hard and enjoying being in the ocean.

Im grateful for @dr.codyfarah for training me and making sure I keep healing everyday the right way and for @pmtenore for opening a space for me to keep pushing, to heal, and to get inspired.

SOME THOUGHTS

I haven’t gotten up on a wave yet.
2nd surf in 2 years and honestly it just keeps humbling me. The mix emotion of being so grateful to be back out, to being so frustrated and disappointed to how hard it is to get back.

It’s crazy, I’m exhausted first 10 minutes, shoulder starts to burn and today I honestly thought how did I even do this for hours every morning 😂

@ittshaauna reminded me that it’s ok, it’s going to take time. Just have to keep going out, enjoy this beautiful summer, and staying consist. I’m just learning to fall in love with the ocean again. I’ll get there.

Today was special.
What got me in the water today was my dad. I found out Friday he had a heart attack, and is in the ICU. He’s back home in Brazil and thursday he will most likely be going through open heart surgery. Really hard to be on the opposite side of the world. To add to it, protocol for me to fly international is not till next March 2027.

We can’t catch a break. Today broke me again. From a FaceTime from my dad that felt like the end, driving the same route to get to the beach, to finally getting to dunk myself in that salt water I missed, it’s been emotional.

Beyond all this, I’m just so grateful for today. I have dreamed of today so many times at treatment and it finally happened.

@ittshaauna love you so much. Lord knows the journey he took us on and can’t believe we made it. To @ryanfleming love you so much bro. You been there from the start, always been a true loyal friend. Couldn’t have shared the line up with anyone else.

Prays up for my dad if you get a moment. Believing he’s going to be better than ever. God did it for me, and he will do it for my dad.

I played my first pick up game in 4 years…. yet alone I just had a kidney transplant months ago. First 10 min I was so disappointed that I couldn’t run, I couldn’t move like I expected myself too.

Every time I would put my cleats on I think of those old clips I posted in this video. Unrealistic EXPECTATION.

I subbed out cause I was just completely out of breath, the body started instantly hurting, but when I lifted my shirt to whip the sweat, my 12 inch scar from the kidney transplant reminded me…. I’m alive… and I’m complaining about not being able to play how I used too when a few months ago I couldn’t even walk with swollen legs and post surgery learning to walk again.

I’m still learning to take things slow, enjoy every moment because life is beautiful.

The game of soccer is beautiful and it’s been awesome to get back to what I love.

31st year. The talks might be a little deeper— the views a little better— the circle a little tighter, but the mission and the faith stay the same🎂✝️

Thank you, love you all ♥️

At Range, we’re always looking for the most effective ways to help our patients move better, recover faster, and get back to doing what they love.

One of the tools we utilize is Acoustic Sound Wave Therapy. This technology delivers targeted sound waves to injured or painful tissues, helping stimulate blood flow, promote healing, reduce pain, and improve mobility. Whether you’re dealing with chronic tendon pain, muscle tightness, or a lingering injury, acoustic sound wave therapy can be a powerful addition to your recovery plan.

Combined with our hands-on treatment approach and individualized care, this therapy helps accelerate the healing process and restore function so you can perform at your best.

Recovery isn’t just about feeling better—it’s about getting stronger, moving better, and returning to life without limitations.

You believe in MIRACLES?

Can’t believe it’s about to be 5 months post kidney transplant. It wasn’t an easy road. In the 5 months, I relearned how to walk, I gained back my strength, im running, getting proper sleep and feeling like a new human.

Never underestimate the power of prayer.
I’m living proof.
