A first visit to Stratford-upon-Avon with Nic to see As You Like It, and what an experience! ❤️🎭

An absolutely brilliant rendition of Shakespeare’s play, full of energy, joy and such a wonderful sense of togetherness. Jonathan Groff was phenomenal, and a total button as Rosalind! 😍

One of the loveliest things was seeing how much everyone on stage seemed to genuinely delight in being there, working together and creating something special. You could feel the collective glee radiating from the whole cast, and it made the experience all the more magical. ✨

Our first time, but hopefully not our last. Stratford, you were a treat!

A little autumn magic, pumpkin picking, gorgeous girls and the sweetest memories 🧡

From the pumpkins to the beautiful autumn outfits, this is one of our favourite traditions of the year! The girls got to dance with the Sanderson sisters, and seeing their enjoyment of those three ladies always is great! My film loves transcend!
I wouldn’t miss our pumpkin picking for the world. 🤎🍁🎃

Already looking forward to next year! ✨🍂

Although I’m now over here in the UK, Thanksgiving has always felt like a lovely reminder to pause and appreciate the things that make life special: family gathered together, little hands reaching for ours, laughter around the table, and the everyday moments that turn out to be the ones we treasure most.

This year, I’m especially thankful for our little family of five. Three beautiful girls who fill our days with more noise, chaos, laughter and love than I could ever have imagined, and a husband who is right there in the middle of it all with me. Life with three little ones isn’t always picture-perfect (and I’m fairly certain someone is always crying 😂), but I wouldn’t trade this season for anything.

Wishing everyone celebrating a very happy Thanksgiving, wherever you are. May your day be full of good food, warm company, and plenty of reasons to count your blessings. And for those of us who don’t celebrate traditionally, perhaps we can still borrow a little of the spirit of the day. 🤎🍁

Grateful for this little life of ours, today and always. 🧡

Now that all August birthday mayhem is pass, there is time to compile the photos from Emilia’s birthday party. Theme: Demon Hunters.

Emilia wore a dress inspired by the concept art for Zoey’s modern hanbok for the finale number by @lifeslemonshandmade

She obviously had an outfit change to match her Golden sisters for the most fearsome trio! Tom obviously joined the group as Bobby.

She had such fun with her friends learning to be demon hunters and dancing — thank you @theprincess_emporium for a great time!

Our year pilgrimage to @castlefarmkent to see the lavender fields.

The girls loved wandering through the fields, taking in the smell and, naturally, finding plenty of opportunities to stop for photos. 😂

There’s something quite lovely about having a place like this in our roster house, although getting three girls to all look at the camera at the same time remains considerably harder than growing lavender.

A lovely little family outing, with purple fields, happy girls and absolutely no shortage of lavender-themed everything in the gift shop, where we never leave empty handed!

We made our yearly pilgrimage to @cammashall for our fruit picking. Due to the draughts that were setting in (beginning of July we weren’t aware it was what was happening) there wasn’t the usual haul available. We still managed to get a good pick and have fun, but always sad to realize in hindsight!

It’s always a day out we look forward to!

At the beginning of July, Emilia had her ballet show, culminating her year of dance. It was amazing to watch her and she was SO proud of herself at the end.

She has come along so much from when she first started ballet four years ago again and “good toes, naughty toes” were a point of confusion.

Also mad props to Sinaia for not having a meltdown when handing Emilia her flowers this time!

And big thanks to Aunty @nicnacn00 for coming along to support her littles!!

Happy seventh birthday to the girl who made me a mom.

My little wonderous eyed girl, who has developed a love of books and stories, be it on paper, stage or film. You are somehow both very big and old enough to make me do a double take but also so very young. May your wonderful and childlike innocence not be smothered out of you and may you continue to see the world with magic. I want to hear “I know Rumi is real, she came to my birthday,” with as much fervour and honesty as the years go by.

It’s amazing to watch you blossom and have your interests unfold, watch you want to learn everything you can about them.

Big emotions swing both ways with you, but you never cease to be a wonderful daughter and big sister.

Happy seventh birthday, Emilia. May each huff and puff and candle blown out be a wish come true.

Stonehenge has a way of making you slow down.

It’s one of those places that doesn’t need to shout to leave an impression, just thousands of years of history, a lot of unanswered questions, and a landscape that makes you pause for a moment.

The girls were full of curiosity (and so were we), but one of the unexpected highlights was the brilliant picture boards dotted around by English Heritage. Seeing the monument through the seasons, and with some very funny picture prompt points, had us all stopping for a laugh before carrying on. Definitely a clever touch that kept the girls engaged.

A day of walking, wondering, laughing, and accepting that some mysteries are probably best left unsolved.

Nobody warned us that the sea was apparently trying to make a run for France! 🌊😂 Every time we looked up, the tide had gone even further out. By the end, it felt like we needed hiking boots and a packed lunch just to reach the water!

The girls absolutely loved hunting for crabs, running across what felt like miles of sand, and making the most of every minute. Visiting the beach at Camber Sands was full of laughter, sandy shoes, salty hair, and an ice cream to top everything off!

(Still not convinced that sea ever came back in!! 🤣)

POV: You take your husband and three girls to Dover Castle expecting a lovely family day. 🤣🏰

Reality:
• We climbed ALL the steps.
• We had to navigate the traffic back into London
• Someone needed something every 10 minutes.
• We somehow survived . . . and actually had the best day!

BUT we learned some great history, saw some wonderful sights and had quality time together. Would 100% do it all again. 👑
