been crying off and on all night…. (please bare with me) 😢😢💔💔🙏🏾🙏🏾 This pic was our last time together in the studio…. the last time I would see him before things took another turn… we took this pic right before we went to Subway for dinner after a long day in the studio… Because of other die hard fans and students of The Sylvers history like me, Its easy to talk about his classic often sampled most memorable song “Misdemeanor” but to also mention his incredible almost immediate transition from child music star to serious proficent young adult bass monster & producer on classic Shalamar, The Whispers, Evelyn Champagne King and that first classic Janet Jackson album (Shoutout to her & Jam/Lewis for mentioning him and Leon in their Rock Hall Of Fame speeches) Already missing our talks on everything and the way you beamed with pride when I came to town to work with you and “Yoda” (The nickname he affectionately called Leon) Loving your reactions everytime I brought up your classic solo albums especially the Hy-Tech stuff and you would turn to Leon saying “Now I see why you got LAW on the team”🙏🏾 I watched you fight this thing in the last 2 times I saw you but I’d rather remember the time I ran the sound for the rehearsal for the official Sylvers music reunion where I respectfully yelled to Leon to join yall and let me run it….Remember me crying watching yall sound exactly like those classic joints after 30 years of not performing together and couldn’t believe I was in front of my Nickerson Garden heroes as you repped your heavenly big brother Edmund taking those leads I thank God for those times…you had been through so much and to see that you still had the magic and was working on more bad ass stuff made me happy Love You “Unc” and I truly hope your brothers Christopher and that mega bad ass Edmund along with mom and dad are waiting for you at the gates…So glad I got to tell you what you meant to me😢..Thank you and Uncle Leon for believing in me as an artist, producer, musician and songwriter when NO ONE ELSE DID FOSTER SYLVERS (RIP) #FosterSylvers #TheSylvers #Planet12Law #LeonSylvers

What do Jam & Lewis, Reid & Face & Teddy Riley All Have In Common ? ALL THEIR ROADS IN PRODUCTION AND INDUSTRY SUCCESS LEADS TO THIS MAN ONE WAY OR THE OTHER His Bday Was A Couple Days Ago But You Know The Rest If You Been Following Me Long Enough I could write a book on him…. Not everyone can say that they have heroes who truly believe in them enough to invest in them, invite them and open doors for them…..But I can and he is one of the top 6 that showed how much he believed in me From his family success to his innovation at Solar Records that truly changed the game of R&B/Soul/Funk & Pop production A verrrrrry happy birthday to my mentor, teacher, uncle and as his younger brother Foster calls him YODA The Godfather Of Contemporary R&B LEON SYLVERS Love You So Much Unc And As Always… THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING #Planet12Law #LeonSylvers #SolarRecords #RNBMusic #TheMostTalentedKidInTheMusicBiz

Episode 1226 - @vicspencer “Trees Are Undefeated” 87% rating This is not really a concept album, Vic Spencer and his rapping colleagues just locked in and approached the topic of the album artwork. It’s a perfect soundtrack to 420 or any similar celebrations #vicspencer #quellechris #weed #chicagohiphop #albumreview
