Have you ever had those moments where you reach a level in life where you feel complete?

Today was that day for me. Not only was I surrounded by a deluge of talent and community, but also the joy of bringing our community together.
This exhibit has been my official first curated art show for the incredible talent you have to see!

The day was an escape to the outside world. There were no political conversations, negative comments, or fear. What was felt was happiness, curiosity, collaboration, community, and gratitude.

This is only day 1 of an exhibit that goes through October 24th.

Imagine the change we can make through creativity and community?!

Hy'shqe from the bottom of my heart ❤️.

What a special opening today for 'Creative Currents' an art exhibition in collaboration with @cordatagallery and @bellinghamseafeast! Thanks to @kevinfcoleman for his curation and including me. So grateful. How fun was it that actor/musician Gary Farmer attended the show and was gracious enough to take the time to hear about our work?! 🙏

Last week, our familias came together to wrap up planning for nuestra Fiesta de Conexión Comunitaria, bringing ideas, creatividad, y liderazgo to life. From shaping the collaborative mural (s/o @ivancolinart) to stepping into meaningful roles, their voices are all over this event. With 22+ partners and exciting new stations to explore, este día va a ser pura fiesta!

As we grow, this isn’t just about hosting, it’s about making room for our community to lead. Y lo más bonito: our older kiddos are stepping up too, helping run stations and showing what it means to lead con corazón. Now all we need is a beautiful sunny day. ☀️

Thank you to our sponsors for making this all possible, we’re incredibly grateful! ✨
