MISSION ACCOMPLISHED Romeo!

Since I use this channel to remind myself where/when we have been I must remember that it is since summer 2021 we spend few days every year in laidback Tamariu. Do not come here. It's perfectly boring! Thanks

Since we came to Wien specifically to see Helmut Lang exhibition and since there will be no catalogue of this we are rather happy to have caught up a bit of his unforgotten genius. Fashion existentialism vs essentialism seen decades later means a lot for us, orphans of this kind of approach. There will not be another Helmut Lang. Just like there will not be any other renaissance of any of this. Apparently the man himself didnt come to the opening of this amazing show and he lives in NYC with zero media interaction. Luckily for us he had said all he should have said back in the days. HL forever.

In Catalunia. Ciao.

First time ever in Menorca and we hope to have opened a new love affair chapter with this lovely/mesmerising balearic island and its chilled inhabitants. Spent great time with brothers and sisters roberto aka il mancio, antonio il picardi and yolanda la tedesca. Plus the bimbi not so bimbi. Dimi, Maria and Jaro. Well, How much do we love you? Aaaah what an impossible calculus! And again distance from home is a mere 1h flight. After all we live in Catalunya and we dont need to travel far to encounter beauty and mistery. How lucky are we?

Its only the second time we visited Athens and yes the city offers some appreciated familiar items such as very good wine bars, great indie record shops, bohemian look and feel, “edifici sgarrupati” and lovely unpretentious locals. I must say I personally cant stand the smoking habits of the greeks and the chaos generated by rain, as it happens in every disfunctional city. Other then that we felt at home and surely will be back. Its a very costeffective, downtoearth city and although the grandeur of ancient times seems to have abandonded these shores and the actual greek alphabet is not so easy to grab I felt comfortable here. Thanks #edgarvele
